Description
Faworki is a cosy, cheerful and unpretentious double-storey self-catering holiday cottage in Sandbaai. It is situated in a spacious enclosed garden opposite a green belt area, 200 m from the Sandbaai cliff path and 5.5 km from Hermanus centre.
Faworki can accommodate up to 6 adults and 1 child and comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, a second lounge area, and an upstairs loft room.
There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the ground floor. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed, built-in cupboards, a shower en suite with a toilet, and washbasin, and an adjoining living area. The second bedroom contains a 4-poster double bed and cupboard space. The second bathroom contains a shower, a toilet, a washbasin and a washing machine.
The third bedroom and third bathroom are located upstairs. The third bedroom contains 2 single beds, a chest of drawers and there is hanging cupboard space in the passage. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The loft contains a separate gallery living area with a work space and plenty of books to keep one entertained, as well as a single bed that can accommodate a child. A balcony leads off the loft.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, gas hob and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, filter coffee maker, toaster, utensils, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge contains 2 couches. French doors lead out from the living area to a covered verandah with table and chairs for 6 to 8 people, a braai area and garden. Double carport parking is provided.
The cottage is well burglar-proofed and protected by an alarm system that is linked to a security company.
