Homely stay. Vanessa and Derek make you feel very welcome and give you lots of very interesting local information, i.e. whale watching, restaurants, pubs etc. Also lovely location and loved hearing the frogs at night! Would definitely recommend it. Great value!

Baie lekker en privaat. Ons het nou wel net oornag, maar vir ons was dit nogal okay. Ons sou wel in ons kamer, N1, voorstel dat die enkelbed verwyder kan word. Dit kan dan ideaal wees vir 'n klein tafeltjie met twee stoele. Nog 'n voorstel is 'n klein mikrogolf vir vinnige warm etes, soos pasteie ens. Die koffie en melk-poeiertjies met die koppies kan dan op 'n klein rakkie bo die tafeltjie gesit word. Dan ook sal 'n deurstopper goed wees teen 'n lastige windjie wat gedurig die deur toemaak. Andersins is dit 'n rustige, netjiese plekkie. Terloops, waarom die poolkamer slegs op aanvraag beskikbaar is, weet ek nie. Hou dit oop as dit vir gaste se gebruik is. Ek het ook geen braaigeriewe gesien nie, en ons Suid-Afrikaners is mos braai-mense, al is dit net 'n worsie met braaibrood.

Dear Waldemarr, Thank you for your recommendations. The room setup is flexible for a couple or two singles. By removing the single bed, it will limit guest booking flexibility. There is a fully equipped kitchen downstairs to which the N1 and other rooms have full access. The wind can be extremely strong in this area at times so using a door stopper will tear the door off its hinges. There are table and chairs on the balcony/deck outside your room to view the beautiful sunsets. There is a warm and cosy braai area in the pool room and outside with comfortable seating for all to enjoy. However, this area has to remain locked until requested for use by guests for the security and safety of both guests and management. The safety and security of guests is a priority at our establishment. With regards to full access 24/7, our establishment is not a holiday home but a lodge where there are certain rules in place to safeguard guests. If you book a self-catering holiday home, you will have complete access to their facilities. Kind regards

Dis waarde vir wat ons betaal het. Het lekker gebly. Daar moet klem gelê word dat Fisherhaven 13 km buite Hermanus is. Ons was onder die indruk dat dit in Hermanus self is. Ons was beslis verras toe ons 13 km nog buite Hermanus moes ry. Die plek is baie mooi. Netjies en vriendelike verblyf.

Vriendelike mense wat daar is om jou rus so gerieflik as moontlik te maak. Dis 'n pragtige plek wat mooi na gekyk word.

Regarding your low ratings on certain specific evaluation points we would like to elaborate what we do offer at our establishment. • Value for money: In comparison to other accomodations in Hermanus you will not find better. Beautiful clean en-suite rooms with full DStv including access to facilities ie. fully equipped kitchen and pool room with indoor braai area and swimming pool. •Security: The crime statistics for Hermanus have shown that Fisherhaven is the safest suburb. Fisherhaven Traveller's lodge has secure enclosed parking with CCTV cameras. There are also beams which will sound the alarm if there is movement in certain areas. In addition to this we have emergency lighting in the pool room, kitchen, upstairs lobby, ground floor and top floor entry to the building. We, the owners you met on arrival, reside on the premises; we are available 24/7 for any guest's requirements. •Location: The accommodation is situated in a quiet peaceful suburb. On checking in we share all the possible places of interest with our guests. Unfortunately we were not afforded this opportunity as the check in was rushed due to your planned visit to a friend’s birthday party located here in Fisherhaven. You are more than welcome to visit again and enjoy what the area and surrounds have to offer. Best regards

Baie vriendelike ontvangs, skoon en netjies met veilige parkering. Ek en my dogter het vir familie gaan kuier. Die blyplek is naby die ingang van Fisherhaven en toeganklik via 'n teerpad met veilige parkering. Vriendelike ontvangs. Kamer was skoon en netjies.
