Wildlife enthusiasts may spot bushbuck, boar, caracal, monkeys, and baboons, while birdwatchers might catch a glimpse of the Knysna Loerie or hear the call of the fish eagle.
For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the surrounding forest offers day hikes, mountain biking tracks, and picnic spots along the river. Buffels Bay, located nearby, boasts a beautiful swimming beach and unspoiled coastline, adding to the appeal of this idyllic retreat.
