Very relaxing get away.

We really enjoyed the stay. The accommodation was very basic but it had everything you need. Kids loved the pool table and others loved the pool.

Quietness in nature.

The accommodation is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and it's a nice and quiet place in nature, to break away from the city rush.

Okay to good.

Overall it was good. I would return only if the heated pool as advertised was heated. Then I would definitely return. This was a big let down for all of the persons on the trip and it cost us to go spend more at Warmbaths for a swim. Other items that could be improved are somewhere to hang or stack clothes.

Overpriced for a mere farm with a well-maintained garden and poky cottages on top of each other. A pool big enough for 6 people.

Disappointed in the poky rooms and looking at a fence with a thick bush in front of me. To the right, the worker's quarters and to the left another poky lapa. Overpriced and no beauty.

The stay was excellent, the host Christel did her best to assist in everything that we requested.

Dit was heerlik en Christelle het 'n mens baie tuis laat voel.

Ons het 'n heerlike aand gehad, maar sal graag wil teruggaan as hul net kan kyk na die beddens. Ons bed was oud en voos. Dit het gevoel asof die bed se rekvere in jou rug druk, maak nie saak hoe hard jy wou probeer slaap nie. Ek dink miskien net na die beddens kyk. Dit was al wat ons vreeslik afgesit het.

Chilled and peaceful but too quiet.

The place it keeps you at ease and good place to ease the mind and release stress. Good place to unwind and really good for strong bond. The place not to be too quiet. Some activities around the bush or entertainment on cottages are needed, but it's really a beautiful place to relax and recharge.

Depending on your expectations, the accommodation may suffice.

Basically only used the accommodation to sleep over. As a family, we wanted to play board games at night though. The Impala unit which can accommodate 8 persons fall far short in terms of seating (only 2 proper chairs, and a coach (probably a sleeper couch) that is very uncomfortable to sit on). Also, no table and chairs (not sure how people are supposed to eat any meals prepared in the kitchen which is well equipped). We left a day early as there is absolutely no other activities at night. Obviously, they wanted to know why, and when we mentioned no table and chairs specifically, we were told we should've asked. Never in my life did I expect one could ask for furniture to be provided should the need arise. In terms of cleanliness no complaints. Fans and lights cannot be switched off/on in accordance with one's own requirements because of where they are located, and the fact that the chains needed to switch on/off is mostly broken. December is very hot in that area, and working fans are an absolute must. They advertise free Wi-Fi, which is absolutely pathetic as we never managed to use it at all.

Some kind of a light during load shedding would be nice.

Was skoon en het lekker geslaap, net beurtkrag was 'n probleem.

Lekker rustige bosveldkuier.

Lekker warm en gasvry ontvang deur ons gasvrou, Christel, wat sommer ook dadelik vir ons die plaas gewys het. Twee pragtige, sprankelende en skoon sonverhitte swembaddens (waarvan een digby die pragtige woonwastaanplekke is). Ek kon nie mooi tel presies hoeveel staanplekke nie, maar wat my aandag getrek het is dat 'n paar van hulle plaveisel het met "privaat" ablusiegeriewe. Lekker onder the bome en baie naby aan die natuur. Ons eenheid (Nyala) is ook vir ons gewys deur Christel, baie ruim, warm en sommer huislik. Die plaas oor die algemeen is baie rustig, netjies en skoon, beslis iets wat enige natuurliefhebber sal geniet met rooibokke sommer langs die draad en pragtige stap-/wandelpaadjies vir die wat die krag het. Christel het deur die loop van die naweek gereeld op ons gecheck en seker gemaak daar kort niks nie en dat ons gemaklik is. Christel en die personeel maak dat gaste lekker welkom voel. Beslis 'n plek wat ek sal aanbeveel. Dankie Christel.

Wat 'n wonderlike weggesteekte, privaat bosveldverblyf, rustig in die natuur sonder enige nonsens. Wat het jul meer nodig?

A very pleasant, tranquil and relaxing bush experience, with a touch of luxury.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Stayed as 3 couples. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. The chalets are set out neatly around the swimming pool. Was also really impressed with the braai area and lapa. Perfect to completely break away from the city life for a few days.

Getting away from everything, good choice.

No radio, no tv, no noise, excellent place to visit. Peaceful and quite, just what I needed, relaxing.

Lekker gemaklik en vriendelike eienaars.

Gerieflike netjiese selfsorgchalets met net die basiese benodighede, vriendelike ontvangs, einenaar maak 'n punt om sy gaste te ontmoet, besig met uitbreiding en opgraderings, kampeerterrein, gemaklik, netjies en famielievriendelik, toegangsroete maklik en gerieflik, karvriendelik. Sal beslis weer van Galago gebruik maak.

Rustige kuier buite in die natuur.

Wat 'n heerlike kuier by die pragtige plekkie. Rustige natuurskoon, netjies verblyf en gerieflik.

Die lodge kort nog fasiliteite om waarde vir geld te lewer.

WiFi is treurig. Geen televisie of radio nie. Saans na donker geen afwisseling nie. Winkeltjie beperk aan aanbod. Is as oord goed as jy net wil afskakel. Moenie luukse verwag nie. Vir die prys meer verwag.
