Comfortable accommodation and attentive host. We were a family of 5 adults. The cabin is spacious and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our hosts took time to give us a tour of the area and shared intersting facts. It's a perfect destination if you enjoy beach walks, hiking, fishing and offroading.

Paradise. Absolutely wonderful, everyone was so friendly and a short walk across the street to the most amazing beach. The gardens are beautiful and so lush. We had a few issues getting there because of traffic and the rain, but the host was so understanding and accommodating. Thank you!

The campsite was very basic - camping in someone's garden. The toilet and shower were clean, but precarious plumbing and electrics. Sadly the beach, although across the road was filthy, but not the fault of the owner, Louie, who was friendly and helpful. I would not recommend a trip to Port St Johns.

I am very sorry to hear you did not enjoy Port St. John's. Unfortunately, there was a massive storm shortly before your visit, hence the debris on the beach. Beach clean-ups are done regularly, but sometimes nature has its own way and it also shows us how much plastic, etc is floating in the ocean.

Very friendly host, lovely and safe spot. Gecko's place had quick responses and a great camping site with green grass and lots of shade.

Relaxing atmosphere. Value for Money. Ghekos Place is situated on the Wild Coast near Port St Johns. The cabin had all the necessary items needed for a stay, however, be prepared or its a long drive (~20 minutes plus) to the nearest shop, but guess that's the uniqueness of the place. You can sit back and unwind after a day's work or if on holiday even better all day. The beach is a short walk away. I hope to be back again.

Heerlike kampplek met alles wat jy nodig het. Ons het heerlik gekamp, die see en strand is net oorkant die kampterrein. Die pad daarheen was 'n verrassing. Miskien sal 'n bord met "Geckos Place" by die afdraai by die brug mens gerusstel dat jy op die regte pad is.
