Was great, will definitely return. Stayed at cottage 2. Great value for money. The cottage has everything a couple needs and also has a great view of the mountains from the braai area. I highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing and refreshing! Ideally located, close to the shops and the mountain walks/hikes. Friendly hosts who ensured that our needs were met and made us aware of some hidden gems in and around Clarens. Thank you for your hospitality. The view and surroundings were amazing!

Ons het net een nag oorgeslaap. Alles is netjies, skoon en gerieflik. Gentle Presence Cottage 2 is 'n netjiese en gerieflike plekkie vir oorslaap. Dit het alles wat nodig is vir 'n nag of 2 se oorbly. Ons het lekker gebly.

Wonderful! Beautiful cottage. Location is close to the main square. The owner is friendly and gives great restaurant recommendations.

OK for a short stay. The accommodation is very small, to be honest, with some slight changes to the layout of the room, the space could accommodate seating better.

I sincerely regret that we were unable to meet your request to have a separate room from your spouse and upgrade you to our larger cottage, as it was occupied. The patio area with the braai and firepit seems to be a favourite among our guests and we noticed you enjoyed that area immensely. Most guests seem to spend more time outside enjoying the views than indoors. We have had guests stay for an entire week and they have enjoyed the cottage and used the extra chairs to watch TV and have meals indoors. A foldable table and trays are also provided. Our photos accurately display the space and facilities available. Cottage 2 is not just a room, but a fully functional kitchenette, offering excellent value to guests who want the ability to self-cater while enjoying good, safe, and value-for-money accommodation. Fabulous. Our stay was absolutely lovely. The host is very friendly, kind and helpful. The cottage is perfect for two people, and the little afdakkie outside is perfect to sit and have some coffee in the morning sun! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Goed gelee, voldoen aan vereistes as basis vir ander aktiwiteite. Ons verblyf was aangenaam. Uitsig vanuit boonste kamer baie mooi. Lekker geslaap en badkamervoor-gesieninge goed. Braai-area is bietjie ongerieflik. Stowwerigheid op oppervlaktes waargeneem. Beperkte DSTV, nie heeltemal korrek beskryf op webtuiste.

Thank you for your kind review. Unfortunately, combating the dust in Clarens is a never-ending task as, except for the tarred main road coming into Clarens, all other roads are gravel/sand roads. It is virtually impossible to stop the dust, especially in the windy and dry seasons and with the regular vehicle traffic. To overcome this, the cottage is equipped with a feather duster, cleaning materials and tablecloths for the dining area. The cottage has a Smart TV and not DStv - guests are able to log in using their own passwords and stream DStv as we do have excellent fibre WiFi. Once again, thank you for your kind review and support in staying with us. We do hope you will visit us again when next in Clarens!
