Tranquility at its best. Wow, what a find! The cottage was clean, neat, and had everything one needed to make you feel at home away from home. The extra length 4-poster bed was so comfortable. The wood in the cottage and at the fireplace was an absolute bonus. The views, especially of the waterfall, were awesome. It was just a pity it was too cold for a swim, but we will be back.

Great location, great accommodation, and an amazing host. From the initial enquiry to the end of the stay, all of our requests were honored. The place is breathtaking, and we wish we could've stayed longer. It will be a perfect getaway for a group of friends or family traveling with kids. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Absoluut fantasties! Ek sal enige tyd weer in hierdie kothuis tuisgaan. Dis ruim en lekker en in 'n baie mooi omgewing. Absoluut alles wat nodig is, is in die kothuis. Baie dankie vir die heerlike verblyf!

Heerlike rustige kuierplek. Ons het vir 'n naweek by Goedemoed gebly. Die kamers is goed uitgerus, netjies en die ligging is pragtig. Daar is 'n heerlike swembad en ruim lapa, asook speelplek vir kinders. WiFi-sein is goed in die sitkamer en daar is ook DStv. Lekker verwarmer in die badkamer is ook 'n plus! Ons gasvrou was in die geval nie tuis nie, maar het ons in die bekwame hande van die plaasbestuurder en sy vrou gelos; sy het seker gemaak dat ons regkom en ons kuier geniet en was heeltyd beskikbaar om vrae te beantwoord. Die plaas is 'n kort entjie buite Montagu, maar die paaie is in 'n goeie toestand en ons kon gemaklik met 'n gewone voertuig kom en gaan. Ons sal beslis weer kom.

Hemel op aarde. Skoon, geen tekortkominge in cottage. Laetitia baie gasvry en laat mense tuis voel ook met al haar bederfies. Baie rustig en voel sommer tuis.

Goed vir die siel. Baie mooi omgewing met die mooiste uitsig oor die berge. Lieflike braai-area by die verhitte swembad was fantasties. Die stilte was goed vir die siel. Sal dit definitief aanbeveel.

Gorgeous and well-appointed farm stay. The Cottage at Goedemoed is a gorgeous and well-appointed spot at the foot of a mountain in the Keisie just outside of Montagu. Communication was great from the get-go and the cottage has every amenity you will need for an overnight or a week stay. . It is located on a working farm so you do wake up to the sound of tractors and roosters. The cottage shares a swimming pool with the manor house which I, unfortunately, didn't have the opportunity to use as my stay was too short. I'll definitely be back!

We left feeling very relaxed - the silence was wonderful. Amazing scenery/location. The accommodation was perfect, clean and very well equipped. Communications regarding our stay, as well as directions and the loadshedding schedule were much appreciated. We would love to return and experience the Cottage without the rain.

Spacious, neat, safe, quiet. Had everything in we needed. The house was exactly like it is shown on the website. Although Montagu was hot, the house was always cool and the cherry on the cake was the airconditioning and the lovely pool. Over and beyond is an understatement. It was bliss to not hear traffic, we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Goedemoed Farm Cottage. I will recommend Goedemoed Farm Cottage to anyone I know, and will definitely be back.
