Green Gables Country Inn is situated in McGregor, in the heart of the Breede Valley wine region.
The inn offers guests a choice of 4 lovely rooms that are located in historical monuments, and each of the rooms has a private entrance. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are provided in each of the rooms, and the rooms open onto private patios. For convenience, linen and towels are provided.
Two of the rooms are located in the thatched-roof Old Barn, and can accommodate between 2 to 3 people. The rooms are furnished with comfortable queen-size beds and a single bed, and have en-suite bathrooms.
The 2-sleeper Manor House Room overlooks the Old Mill, and is furnished with a double bed. The room also has an en-suite bathroom. The Family Unit is located adjacent to the Manor House, and can accommodate 4 people. The unit is furnished with a queen-size bed, as well as 2 single beds, and makes use of an en-suite bathroom.
Guests can enjoy a sundowner on the Manor House verandah which overlooks the town and the Langeberg, have a lovely meal at the on-site restaurant, or cool down in the plunge pool. The inn offers Wi-Fi access, and bicycles are available for use. Parking is available on the premises.
McGregor offers guests historical walks around the town, hiking, walking and biking trails, and wine tasting at the wineries and estates in the area. Guests can also visit the nearby Vrolijkheid nature reserve.
