Thank you for the wonderful and excellent hospitality, comfy rooms. Ecolodge is beautiful for a getaway, nice and quiet environment. I enjoyed my stay.

Good value for money. Friendly staff and it was exactly as advertised, and they provided extra towels upon request.

Waarde vir geld, backpackers/ koshuis tipe verblyf. Skoon en netjies. Ons het die Greyton EcoLodge gebruik toe ons die Fools and Fans Craft Beer festival bygewoon het. Ons het baie lekker gebly en vir die koste, en wat ons gekry het, was dit presies wat ons nodig gehad het.

Basic but homely. Very comfortable 'backpackers'. Janet and staff were available for any queries. Just need to refurbish the one bathroom near the twin rooms on the 1st floor. The shower appears dirty because the grouting is discoloured. Just redo the tiling or regrout and it will look cleaner. Same for the hand basin in the bathroom; it is discoloured. It is time to upgrade.

Hi Adele, Thank you for your review. There is nothing more that I would like to do than refurbish and upgrade many aspects of this building. It is a government building and we rent it from the primary school next door. They are a no-fee school and do not have the funds to maintain their building. We do our best, step by step as budget allows, as we keep our prices in line with backpackers and what guests can expect for what they pay. We also provide affordable accommodation in Greyton. We scrub and clean as best we can. This building is over 60 years old now and has been well used. Kind regards, Janet

Dear Sylvia, thank you for your review. This old building has been transformed from an unused school hostel to a backpackers and venue where large groups, such as yours, can stay at a very affordable price. We lease the building from the government school next door and our rent pays the salaries of some of the teachers. We do our best to keep the old place as clean as possible and are always improving and upgrading. It was unfortunate that during your stay we were having some serious water issues due to load shedding. We look forward to your next local event and hope you will stay with us again. Regards Janet

Nie luuks nie, maar bed slaap lekker. Nie 'n luukse plek nie. Die gebou is baie verwaarloos. Koppies in die kombuis is baie getjip. Maar, beddegoed is gelukkig skoon en vars. Het wel lekker geslaap.
