Beautiful place to stay and surroundings and special, hospitable people. We were pleasantly surprised with our accommodation. As beautiful as something you would find at a 5-star lodge. Every need was catered for from mosquito repellent to matches if you wanted to light a candle. Not that load shedding is a problem here, Hillside is completely self-sustaining and not dependent on Eskom power. We had a lovely time on the stoep and looked out on the beautiful surroundings.
