Silence for your soul. We were warmly received. The accommodation is tastefully and comfortably furnished with everything needed. The fireplace in particular was a winner. The view of the mountains was beautiful.

What a lovely place! Perfect for a getaway where you just want to switch off. The cottage has everything you need. It's perfectly located for someone who just wants to connect with nature. Lovely hiking trails and wonderful hosts, Doreen, who make you feel very comfortable. Perfect for dogs.

We came to have silence, but got silence and peace. It was great! It was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Everything was perfect and clean, comfortable and very smartly planned! We would definitely go again and highly recommend HoneyDew Cottage! The best was no TV and cell phone signal so we could really switch off!

Great get away. If you want to get away from cell phones and traffic, Honeydew is your place. Most beautiful mountain views and neat, modern facilities. Would recommend it.

Weekend getaway The hostess was very nice and provided us with all information about the accommodation. The house is beautifully furnished with top quality furniture, bedding and towels. There is everything you need for a quiet and peaceful escape from the city. The outside tables even had nice tablecloths on them. The large porch with hammocks is definitely a winner and the teenagers made themselves at home there. If the weather had been better, we could also have a nice barbecue by the outdoor fire place and stargaze. The fireplace is also lovely. There are also fun things to do in the area. My only gripe is that we didn't expect there to be another house so close to the cottage, where the hostess's brother lives. They are very nice, but we could literally listen to their choice of music together all Saturday, when we would rather hear the birds and silence. They also have a dear dog who visited us all weekend. The kids loved him, but if you bring your own dogs, be aware that you will still have a permanent four-legged friend on site.

Lovely, peaceful getaway weekend. We had so much fun hanging out on the stoep, reading a book, completing sudokus and just sitting and watching the ties. The fireplace makes the whole house wonderfully warm in the cold winter evenings. Our hostess made us feel so welcome with her visit and delicious muffins. Truly a place to visit!
