Very peaceful, comfortable and secure location, a bit shady in winter. Very welcoming hosts giving good advice on hikes starting from the cabin, well equipped kitchen and super braai facilities. Cosy fireplace was perfectly set up with wood every day. Thanks!

Just perfect. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. The setting of the cabin is just perfect, right up against the mountains. There are several walks to do, all well marked, taking you into the forests and nearby falls. Thank you to Paul and Ricky for sharing your wonderful piece of heaven with us.

Excellent stay! It was perfect. I loved the fact that it was mid winter but the cabin was still cosy with the fireplace and electric blanket. The kitchen has everything you need, even a corkscrew! Housekeeping is also done daily, and fresh towels too! Hosts are just wonderful, and the dogs were friendly too. It's a perfect getaway from reality and the world. Will definitely revisit.

Die beste ligging uit en uit in die berge. Baie goed toegeruste eenheid, jy kan werklik amper net skoon klere en kos saam bring. Die res word voorsien selfs hout om die binne kagel en braai vuur aan die gang te hou. Werklik 'n juweel tussen die Drakensberge met 'n bergstroom wat kabbel in die agtergrond. Hier word jy een met die natuur. Baie dankie Ricky & Paul.

Breathtaking escape. The location is breathtaking, from the drive in up to and including the views from the cabin. The welcome from Ricky was warm, and you could see the pride they had in their accommodation and showing us around. The cabin was lovely, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Lots of firewood was a huge plus, and we enjoyed the fireplace. The access to the reserve's hikes was an amazing treat; Nandi Falls was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us.

Pleasant, comfortable, peaceful stay with great hiking trails. What an amazing time we have had! It is a beautiful place in the middle of the Drakensberg with very well-kept hiking trails. You constantly hear the water stream and are so aware of the beauty of creation. The cabin is lovely and very well equipped. The fireplace is a winner. The hosts are very hospitable and friendly. I can recommend the stay with great confidence to anyone wanting to get away for some peace and quiet, and ample hiking trails to burn off some energy.

It was a beautiful place. What a nice place. It is clean and beautiful. The owners are so kind and helpful. We stayed for four days. We will return one day. Thank you very much.

Perfect for a peaceful getaway! We had a lovely stay! Perfect location for the adventure seekers. We loved hiking here. We didn't need anything as the hosts cater well for their guests. 10/10 would recommend.
