Beautiful location but Intaba Lodge is overpriced for the quality provided. Lovely location and grounds. While the accommodation was adequate, it was overpriced for the quality of what is provided. Customer service from the hosts was also okay but a little hands-off, particularly in relation to our advance request for a vegetarian meal, which resulted in a last-minute omelette. Not exactly a demonstration of thoughtfulness or attention to detail. If you're looking for a place to simply rest your head while on the road, this is not a bad choice. But if you're looking for a homely and welcoming experience as part of a holiday, look elsewhere.

The lodge was pet friendly which was a big attraction for us. The accommodation was great and very friendly. Good experience.

We had a warm bed and hot shower. Overpriced. Room and especially bathroom needs a lot of TLC. Awkward step from shower onto floor with a shower door that does not open completely. Not recommended for anyone struggling with mobility. Dirty and old pillows and pillow cases. Supper was terrible and very limited bar. Breakfast was sufficient. Loved the dogs on the property though.

Very pleasant stay. Close enough to Coffee Bay to have a comfortable drive in the morning. Very pleasant pub and restaurant.

Gerieflik, vriendelik, alles wat jy nodig het vir 'n oorslaap. Besonderse mooi landskap, netjiese omgewing, baie vriendelike ontvangs en lekker spierwit en skoon beddegoed.

Gerieflik, voldoende, rustige natuurskoon, en 'n lekker kaggel-kuier in die restaurant. Ons kon gaan stap saam met die gashere se honde en die kranse aan die een kant en die wye uitsig aan die ander kant beleef. Die slaapplek en badkamer was gerieflik. Ons het die aand in die reataurant goed voorbereide kos geëet by die gesellige vuur in die braaiplek om die koue te verdryf. Die ontbyt voortreflik. Die personeel was vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Baie dankie, dit was lekker.

Baie teleurstellend. Groot verskil van ons vorige keer wat ons oorgebly het. Die handdoeke was kliphard, die ontbyt was rêrig nie van die goeie gehalte van voorheen nie. Die kamers was ook nie so netjies soos die vorige keer nie. Ontvangs was vriendelik, maar ek glo nie ons sal maklik weer daar oornag nie,.

Disappointing. No Covid precautions at all. Poorly prepared food. Bathroom was an ill conceived add on to the room. No masks for any of the staff or guests. No sanitising. It was as if COVID was happening somewhere else. Steak and pork chops were badly cooked. Breakfast was nicely prepared but just a cup of juice of unknown origins and vintage in the dispenser and just two (unmatched) coffee cups (for the instant coffee) in the whole dining room. Possibly acceptable in a backpackers but not in an hotel charging these prices. A very tricky 40cm step out of the shower - in the poorly constructed and unimpressive en suite in what was otherwise a nice looking room.

Baie mooi plek die kroeg is 'n groot plus. Die kamer was netjies die kos en ontbyt was heerlik. Die bestuur en personeel is tops.
