Kleinplaas is a small, intimate guesthouse situated on the slopes of Paarl Mountain with magnificent views over the Paarl Valley and the distant Drakenstein Mountains. Nestled in the shadow of Paarl Rock, Kleinplaas offers self-catering accommodation.
The building was once the studio of well-known South African artist David Botha, chosen for its peaceful ambience. Ancient olive and cypress trees greet our guests as they take the winding road to the guesthouse.
These Luxury Double rooms comprise 3 bedrooms and 3 en-suite bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms furnished with a queen-size bed while the other bedroom contains 2 single beds. Each en-suite bathroom is fitted with both a shower and a bath. These rooms have a fireplace, fan as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi. Each room opens onto a terrace and a garden area. A separate kitchen and dining room offer self-catering facilities for those who wish to prepare their own meals.
Kleinplaas Guesthouse is ideal for small intimate weddings or small functions. Photo opportunities are endless, whether it would be scenes at the stables, at the old wrought iron gates, in the bush or in the garden.
Walks into the mountain and trails for mountain biking can be reached from Kleinplaas. The sight of our purebred Arabian horses strolling between the granite rocks, or training for their next show, adds to the feeling of tranquillity at Kleinplaas. Along with its natural beauty, Kleinplaas almost lies in the centre of Paarl, convenient to all historic sites and highly acclaimed restaurants. Cape Town, the international airport, the Atlantic- and Indian Oceans, and historic towns such as Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Tulbagh, are all within a 30-minute drive.
