Absolutely amazing. The house is so beautiful, with everything you might need for a tranquil and relaxing time away with friends or family. The dam nearby was so serene, the location is absolutely beautiful and the staff was super friendly. Definitely a hidden gem.

Dit is 'n pragtige plek en die ligging is so in die bos soos mens kan kry. Ons het regtig lekker gekuier en die omgewing en huis was werklik net wat mens nodig het. Ons het geen klagtes nie, egter net 'n paar voorstelle. Dit sal goed wees as jul die spinnerakke wat so ooglopend is kan verwyder en as daar TV's in die 2 kamers is, sorg asb. dat dit werk! Daar kan ook moontlik belê word in 'n groot sambreel vir buite, daar is nêrens 'n koeltegaatjie om te sit deur die dag nie.

Nice getaway! Our stay was very nice. Fresh air. Beautiful sky, sunrise and sunset. Rooms were very nice with air conditioning. The cleaning staff were very helpful and efficient. The game drive vehicle seemed overpriced to use, in my opinion. Load shedding is a problem as there is only one light that can be used. There is also no water during load shedding as the water pumps are not working. This is quite inconvenient.

Kuier was verskriklik lekker, baie mooi wild en omgewing het rêrig baie mooi boslewe. Omgewing van die bos-aspek is verskriklik mooi en die tyd saam met familie is altyd kosbaar. Maar die Lodge self is nie op standaard nie. Geen skoonmakers was daar nie, soos aangedui. Watergeiser het oorgeloop en daar was geen dienste verskaf wat dit kon regmaak nie. Braaiplek was vuil en as was sommer net agter die braai gegooi en nie in die asbik nie. Daar is 'n hele lys van goed wat ek nog kan noem wat ek voel rêrig nie vir daai prys op standaard is nie. Dis gewoonlik die fyn details wat mens na 'n plek toe laat terugkom.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Kudu Lodge. The house has a nice built-in braai, boma area, lovely kitchen and stunning rooms. We were able to enjoy the views of a nearby dam which drew game and we went for a lovely game drive with the game viewer. We did, however, feel that there are some basic maintenance and attention needed. It is an 8-sleeper, but there are only 6 chairs around the table. Basic items were missing from the cutlery drawer, such as a wine bottle opener, working scissors and sharp knives. More than one of the camping chairs for the boma outside is broken and worn, and the game viewer’s lights and windscreen wipers are not in full working condition. We cleaned up after ourselves, so when the domestic worker came in to clean, we were all right for the moment but asked that she return a little later. She never came back. All-in-all it was a wonderful stay, and Monica was very good with communication and helpful; it seems like the owners haven’t been there for a while and might not be aware of the small details and missing items that would’ve made our stay even better.

Was baie rustig. Mense wat Sondag ingeboek het was baie lawaaierig met harde musiek t.s.v. reëls. Baie aangename opset, maar verwaarloos. 8-Slaapeenheid met net 6 stoele by eetkamertafel. Drein verstop. Mure vuil, yskas gebreek, te min glase van sekere soorte.

Beautiful house and scenery. What you see in pictures is a true reflection. The house and location are worth your money. The service from both Monica and housekeeper was really a downfall. Communication not so good. The house needs a lot of attention in terms of cleanliness. If not monitored, the pool might also deteriorate. Make sure you arrive before it gets dark, otherwise you will get lost. Owner needs to also provide clear signs/directions to the house within the estate. We got lost and found ourselves at Ditholo Lodge, requested directions at the reception, and to our surprise the lady by the name of "Pedro" said she has never heard of "Kudu Lodge". By the way, the house is a 5-minute drive from there. We enjoyed the house and self-driven game drive. Thank you Kudu.

Luuks en goed ingerig. Ons het heerlik gekuier by Kudu Lodge. Alles lyk presies soos die foto's - dis luuks, skoon, netjies en goed versorg. Die lodge is so goed ingerig en ek sal dit definitief aanbeveel. Ek sou nie voorstel dat die wildsvoertuig gehuur word in sy huidige toestand nie.

Baie goeie ervaring en uitstekende diens. Sal graag weer wil gaan.
