Amazing place. Wonderful hosts. Highly recommend this gem. We had an incredible 3-day stay at Kuhestan. From the time we arrived, we were made to feel so at home. The property is beautiful, well maintained, very comfortable and wonderful charming hosts. We will definitely be back.

Breathtaking, peaceful and soul restoring. Absolutely wonderful! Lovely and comfortable cottage, stunning gardens, small gestures to make you feel welcome, and very friendly and helpful hosts. Clean, safe and the best location in the whole of Magoebaskloof. The gardens and views are the most beautiful all around.

Peaceful, beautiful and comfortable. Kuhestan is the perfect destination in all respects. Lovely units in a gorgeous garden. The delicious extras like the bread, jams, butter, milk and eggs contributed to a farm-like feel. We had very cold weather, but our fireplace wood supply was restocked daily as well as the fireplace packed and ready to simply be lit upon our return from exploring the gorgeous surroundings. Highly rated.

Out of this world - we will be back again. Jy sal baie vêr moet soek om meer gasvrye mense as Shahrzad en Brett te kry. Hulle sit daardie ekstra dingetjies in wat die tyd daar in een groot fees omskep. Die akkommodasie is skoon, ruim, gerieflik en spreek van goeie smaak. Alhoewel selfsorg, is ons elke dag voorsien van tuisgebakte brood, eiers, melk, botter en van hulle eie vervaardigde konfyt. Die stilte is iets om oor liries te raak en die feit dat daar nie TV is nie, is eintlik 'n bedekte seën. Tuine is goed versorg - blare word elke oggend opgetel - en behoort asemrowend te wees in die lente. Baie naby ander besienswaardighede en die 2km grondpad, alhoewel nie van die mooiste nie, is selfs vir 'n klein motortjie maklik rybaar. Ons het ure in die woud gestap - wat 'n ondervinding. Hierdie was ons eerste besoek maar beslis nie ons laaste een nie.

It was a pleasure meeting both of you and I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay at Kuhestan. It always warms our hearts when we receive positive feedback from our guests. We love Kuhestan and it is good to see that our visitors do too. Thank you for your kind comments on the gardens and the surroundings. We are happy to report that the provisional gravel road (Houtbosdorp) leading to Kuhestan has now been graded and it's smooth sailing! We look forward to your return visit, hopefully, there will be many more flowers in the garden next time.

Rustige en netjiese plek! Dit was ons tweede kuier by Kuhestan en ons sal dit beslis aanbeveel. Die ekstras soos 'n plaasbrood, melk, eiers, botter en konfyt laat mens sommer tuis voel.

Simply beautiful and peaceful! A very special touch is the homebaked bread, organic Kuhestan jams, butter, eggs and milk provided daily as a treat to the guests and the gardens are breathtaking!
