Very relaxing and beautiful views.

Amazing views and beautiful sunsets. I loved waking up to the sound of birds chirping. I highly recommend this place to those who just want to escape their busy lives, relax and admire nature.

Lovely.

Our stay was amazing. We had a good time. Unfortunately, the wood that was given to us must have been wet as it would not stay alight in the fireplace or the braai, which was unfortunate as it was very cold. Other than that, it was lovely.

For the price we paid, it should be 5 star.

We chose this location because it was 2km from Le Paris where we had to attend a wedding. The location and security were perfect. Just some constructive criticism: There is no long mirror (I was trying to get ready for a wedding). There is no plug near a mirror, so I had to do my hair blindly and run across the lounge to the bathroom to look if it is right. There should be curtains / blinds in the lounge / kitchen as one has to go from the bedroom to the bathroom through those rooms and there is no privacy.

Dear Harry,
I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your stay. The price we charge is half of what other accommodations in the neighbourhood ask for. If you are seeking a 5-star establishment, we suggest you try those next time, however, they do charge around 5 grand per night instead of 2.5 (in other words: you seem to have a mistaken idea of the prices for 5* accommodation in Franschhoek).
Unfortunately, none of your complaints were raised while staying with us.

Kan nie beter nie. Absoluut fantasties!

Absoluut fantasties, kan nie beter kry nie. Personeel is baie vriendelik en vreeslik gasvry. Sal beslis in die toekoms weer van hulle gebruik maak. Netjies, rustig en asemrowend mooi.

Lekker gekuier in pragtige Franschhoek.

Oulike plek om te bly en Franschhoek te verken. Baie netjies en skoon, en die eienaar is baie gasvry. Hy het eiers van sy "happy hens" vir ons gegee met ons aankoms om vir ontbyt te eet.

The Thatch Cottage at La Ferme was absolutely stunning.

We were booked into the Thatch Cottage (same day as the flooding in Franschhoek). Due to the flooding, they couldn't get fresh linen for the unit (due to the flooding in town), but later in the day, Tim phoned (and always communicated with us) and said he managed to get clean bedding - which meant we could still spend the night. The unit was clean and contained everything you could need (WiFi, air conditioning, fireplace, braai, fridge, etc.). The unit itself was absolutely stunning - especially having the view of the river from the deck. Tim supplied us with ample firewood and even brought us some eggs in the morning. I would highly recommend spending a night or even a weekend. Thanks, Tim, for being a great host. We will be sure to visit again!

Waters van rus.

La Ferme is werklik 'n rustige plek waar mens wegkom van die gewoel van die alledaagse lewe. Dit was silwerskoon en het alles wat ons kon benodig vir n braai en ontbyt die volgende oggend. Ons kon heerlik ontspan, veral voor die kaggel. Die eenheid was ook lekker ruim binne en daar was 'n ekstra groot yskas. Die eienaar het selfs vir ons "free range" eiers gebring vir ontbyt.

Peaceful location with easy access to surrounding winelands and Cape Town.
