Location was perfect to explore the reserve. Perfect location to enter the reserve on the west side, shady smallish sites. We arrived late, so couldn't use the solar shower, but we enjoyed overnighting. The monkeys came through in the morning, so be warned, don't leave anything out.

We had a great 3 nights at Die Kaaste Kamp before driving through the reserve. A very pleasant, cool and quiet camp. Four stands with lovely trees and mown grass. Flush toilet out of sight. Cold showers with slightly less cold water at the end of a sunny afternoon. No cell phone disruptions.

Alone and quiet. We were the only campers so we had the whole campsite to ourselves. We were surprised to see that you can check yourself in and use an honesty box to buy wood. We liked the concept.
