Such a lovely and peaceful place. Such lovely owners, the place was beautifully done with such attention to detail. We had a peaceful and tranquil stay with everything being lovely and perfect, and enjoyed the lovely pool too with beautiful scenery.

The host was very kind and made the stay very pleasant from arrival to departure. All the comforts one could ask for, the heated pool is a bonus. All amenities that were included made the stay more comfortable. The host was just a message away. She made sure we had everything we could possibly need during our stay and provided good restaurant options close by with beautiful views.

Spotless, stunning views, welcoming atmosphere - like visiting friends! Our 10th wedding anniversary at L'Abri was truly unforgettable. The day before our trip, the owner kindly reached out to thank us for our booking and express her excitement about our stay. I mentioned that it was our anniversary and promised to message her when we were on our way from Cape Town. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted, who made us feel instantly at home. She welcomed us with a beautiful bouquet of deep pink roses and a handwritten note—such a thoughtful gesture. The room was cool, with windows open to let in the fresh air, and cold water waiting in the fridge, which was a much-needed refreshment after our hot journey. The cottage was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we might need, including extra crisp bedding, an iron, wood for the braai, and an excellent selection of coffee and milk. The appliances were pristine, and everything was fully functional. The location was ideal, just a 5-minute drive from all the attractions of Langebaan, yet the estate itself provided a peaceful retreat for walks. We enjoyed seeing springbok, ostriches, and wild tortoises during our stroll. The heated pool with spacious lounges was the perfect spot to relax by the water. The cottage was beautifully maintained, with stunning handcrafted wood furniture made by the owner. Staying at L'Abri felt like visiting a close friend—both the home and the cottage exuded a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a rare gift to feel so comfortable and cared for in such a special place.
