As above. It was a very short stay, but the room and the view the next morning over the dam was stunning. Great pity about the restaurant not being available. Definitely revisit.

Everything we expected. The unit next to the dam was very neat, clean and comfortable. The only unexpected surprise was that, although cleaning services are available, they are not included in the rate unless accommodation is booked directly with the lodge. Countryside breakaway. Very peaceful stay with a great view of the man-made lake. We suspect that the view is much better in the summer though. The fireplace was a highlight during the cold nights. The warmth and tranquility of the accommodation could be enjoyed in spite of the harsh winter weather. While we did not intend on watching television, we felt a larger size TV might be a good idea.
