Description
Lavender House & Lavender Room is situated in Port Alfred, 100m from the river and 15 m from restaurants, a health shop, quaint gift and décor stores, a hotel and cocktail bar. All of these are within easy and safe walking distance.
Lavender House offers the ultimate in laid back beach house holiday accommodation. It is let as a self-catering unit and sleeps between 8 and 10 people. There are 3 bedrooms with extra-length, queen-size beds. The main room also has a bunk bed set. The fourth bedroom is furnished with 3 three-quarter beds. Percale bedding, as well as bath- and beach towels, are provided. The house has 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite while the third is shared by 2 rooms.
The house also offers an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, a stove and a microwave as well as a dishwasher and washing machine for added convenience. There are 2 lounges and a dining area. Amenities include a Hi-Fi system and an indoor fireplace.
Netflix and Wifi is also available.
Lavender Room has a double bed, a table and chairs for 2 guests, and an open plan kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, microwave, and mini-oven. The bathroom is separate with a shower, toilet, and basin. The entrance is separate from the main house with a small garden, seating area, and built-in braai.
Lavender House and Lavender Room can be booked as one unit for a large group or separately. Lavender Room has its own entrance but shares parking with Lavender House.
There is off-street parking for both in the garden and a ramp for prams. At the rear of the house, there is a fully enclosed private garden with a deck and braai facilities. Please note there is no gate in front of the house.
The magnificent beach is 1 km down the road. Six malaria-free game parks are to be found in the area and for the sporty, there is the Royal Port Alfred Golf Course, tennis, bowls, boating, canoeing, deep sea fishing and diving available.
Airport transfers can be arranged as we are ideally situated 150 km Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and 130 km East London.
