Ons het Harties en omgewing verken terwyl ons lekker by Leopard Lodge gebly het. Sjoe, voorwaar weer lekker gekuier. Die personeel is so vriendelik, die plek is skoon en goed versorg. Ons het elke dag in die jacuzzi gekuier, met 'n pragtige uitsig. Ons was aangenaam verras. Die kos is van uitstaande gehalte terwyl daar sagte musiek in die agtergrond speel.

Fantasties! Dit was 'n naweek uit die boeke uit! Dit was so rustig en ons het die uitsig baie geniet! Die personeel is puik en baie vriendelik.

Beautiful view and friendly staff. We were only there for one night but would have loved to stay longer. The staff are friendly and eager to help. It was wonderful! We will definitely go back.

Absolutely amazing. The stay was amazing, the lodge is gorgeous with amazing views of the mountains and the dam. We got to see animals on the plot on our way to our rooms/reception from the main gate. My only concern is that the road from the main gate leading to the reception needs to be fixed; otherwise, drive slowly (however, there is a section where the road is smooth again). Their meals were delicious and on time, and the location of the lodge is not too far from activity venues/local stores. The staff were super friendly and helpful, top-class service. The images on the site don't do the place justice; the lodge is beautiful and peaceful. We were happy!

Comfortable rooms and delicious meals. We had stopped at Leopard Lodge just for lunch on a previous occasion and thought that we would like to try out the hotel for a weekend break. It proved to be a great decision. We were greeted pleasantly on arrival and check-in was swift and efficient. We had booked Ingwe 20 and it is one of only two rooms with a spa bath, located on the veranda. Being the highest, it is probably also the room with the best view. It is also very private. The room itself was clean and quite large with an ensuite shower/toilet and a wardrobe/dressing area. Mosquitos are present, but a net over the bed is provided as is a can of repellant spray. The room is also air conditioned. We were extremely comfortable and slept very well. Dinner time, and breakfast the following day, showcased one of the main features of Leopard Lodge; their restaurant. Honestly, the food is incredible. I had the best oxtail I have ever tasted, while my wife ordered the Chicken Ballotine. After tasting both, in my opinion, I think that I got the slightly better deal but both dishes were exquisite. Even when it came to the breakfast, the scrambled eggs had that little something extra that was hard to define but so delicious. And don't get me started on the mushrooms! Between meals, you have many choices, from chilling on the lawns overlooking the Haartebeespoort Dam and surrounds, to hiking the 4 km trail hoping to catch glimpses of the game and zebra that inhabit the huge property. Haartebeespoort and all that it has to offer is just a short drive away, including the Elephant and Monkey sanctuaries, Chameleon Market, the dam wall and a variety of boutique and tourist locations. Van Gaalen Cheese is worth a visit. While on the lawns, it is worth turning around to face the mountain ridge behind you. It is the habitat of over 300 breeding pairs of the endangered Cape Griffon Vulture and the sight of so many vultures circling overhead is awe inspiring. We will definitely be returning to Leopard Lodge in the near future. An awesome weekend.

Pragtig en rustig. Wat ons nodig gehad het. Was baie mooi. Kamer gerieflik, die enigste negatiewe iets is dat daar geen yskas is om water en koeldrank in koud te hou nie. Personeel baie vriendelik. Ontbyt was heerlik.

Dit was baie rustig en ek sou graag langer wou bly. Die kamer was baie netjies. Die area is baie rustig en mooi. Ek sal slegs aanbeveel dat daar dalk groter handdoeke gegee word en ook 'n klein yskas in die kamer. Die restaurant maak wel bietjie vroeg toe in die aande. Ontbyt was baie aangenaam gewees.

Die verblyf was, veral die diere en die ontbyt. Die diere was 'n groot bederf, maar die plekkie kort bietjie aandag. Veral die gordyne en 'n a/c sal 'n groot verskil maak in die onderste kamer.
