Stunning! What a way to spend our 25th wedding anniversary. Wonderful couple's getaway! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by buck and zebra, we knew we were in for a special stay. At reception, Mlu welcomed us warmly, took the time to chat, and showed us around. The swimming pool was in pristine condition, and the entire area was beautifully maintained. Seeing so many buck roaming freely was an absolute delight. Whilst Mlu was taking us to our unit (#6 in the forest), he was explaining some history and the animal movements and what we can expect to see in the evenings, and then also hear at night in the distance. The layout of the units is so romantic and distanced that you do have your bit of the bush to yourselves. Everything about this place is just beautiful. Our unit was gorgeous, tons of space, a massive bed with a mozzie net, and a walk-in closet into the bathroom. The room was just beautiful and the heart-shaped rose petals on the bed were very cute. The aircon had been switched on before our great arrival, so the room was cooled down. We had our own (jacuzzi) spa bath which was amazing as we could control the temperature of the water; it filled within 10 minutes, so no fuss at all. Our little spot for the weekend was just perfectly private and secluded, just what we needed. Being Valentine's, we had a boma dinner; the layout was beautiful around the roaring fire and a lot of attention to detail was noted with a personalised card from the owners and staff to each guest. The zebra came and joined us, and we had the honour of feeding them some apples. What an experience! The food was good, and we then retreated to our (jacuzzi) spa bath with some Prosecco and chilled under the stars listening to all the animals. We never had breakfast as we had an early morning game drive to get to, which was arranged by Mlu on our request on arrival, and spent the rest of the day out. When we got back (late afternoon), we filled the (jacuzzi), opened some wine, and relaxed under the trees for some time before dinner. Dinner was okay, and again we retreated to our spot in the (jacuzzi) under the stars. We left early again on our last morning, so we didn’t get to try the breakfast, but we will next time. All the staff were helpful and friendly, and as for Mlu, he gave us so much assistance and advice in booking our outings and all the information about Leopard Walk. We will come back again as the peace and tranquillity of the place is excellent and a beautiful place to unwind and get away from the rat race of life as we know it. Thank you so much.

An enjoyable experience overall, lived up to its three star billing. We enjoyed our stay at Leopard Walk Lodge. As a three star establishment, it lives up to its rating. The food was always plentiful and varied. The rooms were tastefully decorated, large and well designed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A few suggestions: Wait-staff: Service was a bit slow, but perhaps more staff are needed during busy times (we were there over New Year). Cocktails at the pool would have been great. Pool staff could possibly prioritise their maintenance early before guests arrive as it's not relaxing when staff are working around you while you swim or sunbathe. Room cleaning was a bit haphazard. The cleaning staff always came once to clean and a few hours later to do something more. It meant no privacy because you never knew when they were going to be there. We had a portable air conditioning unit which struggled to cool the large room down, and in 40°C heat, it was overworked.

Peaceful, quiet, great time to catch up with yourself. We had a great stay. Quiet. Meals were good. Room service related to cleaning a bit slow.

The value add activities were enjoyable and excellent. The walk in the forest was enjoyable and interesting. The massage by Susan was excellent and good value for money. The owners were occupied with other guests and left the staff to look after us as guests. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
