Hi Dennis,
So sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay. I will get our repair man over as soon as possible to look at the light and the taps.
Sorry about the cold weather; it can be very unpleasant there at this time of the year. There is also a fireplace in the lounge; had we known the electric heater and gas heater were insufficient, Patrick could have helped you make a fire.
My apologies for the frayed towel; there were more in the cupboard. Mercy could have swapped them out, or you could have used the four other towels in the other bedrooms.
In summer, you can open the windows at night as the outside beams will pick up any activity.
I advertise the house as having only one bathroom; the outside shower is an extra for washing sand off etc. on a beach holiday. Unfortunately, the bathroom is too narrow to install a shower; we have looked into it.
Mercy should not have left the frayed dishcloth out; I apologise for that. There is a pile of extra ones in the kitchen drawer, however.
The outside brick braai was built by my grandfather over 50 years ago; it has always looked like that and we use it all the time. The Weber is there for braai with a view. I'm terribly sorry it broke while you were there; we should have seen it needs replacing.
Thank you for taking the time to provide detailed feedback.
Kind regards,
Brigette from Loerie Cottage
