Just what the doctor ordered. Chilled weekend. Literally and figuratively. Well organised unit and property. Everything we expected and more.

Wonderful, tranquil. Just what we needed to recharge our internal batteries. Lovely cosy setting with a fireplace, which was welcome due to the weather. Will visit again!

Natuur paradys. Maple Grove is 'n baie netjiese blyplek in 'n pragtige tuin. Ek sal Maple Grove hoogs aanbeveel.

Heerlike knus blyplek met binne kaggel in hierdie koue winter! Hogsback het my siel gevoed! Die arboretum, die hoogste hoë bome!!! Die watervalle! Madonna en kind-waterval is van die mooiste watervalle wat ek al gesien het. Ons blyplek was heerlik ten spyte van ysige koue.

We stayed in the 2 en-suite bedroom chalet, perfect accommodation. Highly reccommend. Excellent hosts, Lyndsay and Peter Walker were attentive and welcoming. We are keen birders and the garden provided many sightings. Well appointed, all that one needs.

Absolutely fantastic and cozy stay! Idyllic surroundings make you feel like you are alone in the most beautiful forest! We only stayed for one night and when we got there it was raining. We stayed in and made a fire in the fireplace. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings with some great wine and played cards till late. It rained through the night but we could explore a bit in the morning. What a magical place, will definitely have to go back to explore more of the little town and surroundings. We went during the off-season and chose to stay in, but there are limited restaurants open during the off-season. We could not find a breakfast place on our way out around 9:30 am. Would love to do this during the busy season to be part of the adventure and magic that I can only imagine happens in this beautiful place!

Ons het nie Hogsback gekies. Hogsback het ons gekies! Die kuier was absoluut fantasies. Lindsay en Pete is gashere van formaat en ons sal verseker weer teruggaan.

Lekker cosy, skoon en netjies. Dis so tussen die bome en lekker weg van mense.

Baie gerieflik, goed toegerus, pragtige omgewing. Die dorpie is maar redelik verwaarloos maar die gastehuis was meer as voldoende. Die omgewing is wondermooi.

Was anders as die gewone baie lekker gebly weg van die stads geraas en gejaag. Koue nat 8 dae het vir ons 'n White Christmas gegee sonder sneeu. Was iets anders as die gewone. Warm cosy kaggelvuur Kersfees. Rustig in die natuur.
