A touch of nostalgia with a gollop of love. Maree welcomed us to our overnight stay with such warmth and made us feel at home immediately. Our room was neat and we loved the high pressed ceilings and wooden floors. The beds were clean and comfortable and we had fresh towels. The added bonus was the aircon. Our daughter also made friends with her grandkids and she left saying it was her best "holiday" ever. If you love old school grace and comfort then look no further. Maree even went so far as to make us each a little lunch box full of food to eat on our way to our destination and it was so unexpected and felt like so much love had been put into each one. We were so touched by it. Ultimately, if you appreciate a simple traditional stay and take into consideration where you are, you appreciate the love and care Maree has made to make you feel comfortable. Yes, there are pets and yes they sometimes make a mess but that's okay. We have pets of our own so we understand and loved them. It's all about the love and effort she puts in to make you comfortable. Well done Maree. You get 10 stars for the family. A side note for those staying in summer which has nothing to do with Maree's splendid hospitality, make sure you have some peaceful sleep nearby. The mozzies are vicious! She did have Doom though which we appreciated. P. S. The sarmies were delicious.

Comfortable bed and working aircon. Friendly reception. We were kindly given basic food packs as there were no takeaway places or restaurants open. The accommodation and courtyard had a slight undertone of the smell of urine.

As advertised. For such a small town, I was happy with my stay and friendly service.

Veiligheid nie goed nie. Plek is skoon en netjies, maar veiligheid is nie so goed nie. Ons voertuig se al vier wieldoppies is af gesteel. Eienaar is vriendelik en behulpsaam.

Good. It was good and we arrived late, but we managed to talk to her. She is a friendly person and approachable.

Okay. Dit het voldoen aan my behoefte 'n veilige oornag. WiFi wagwoord nie beskikbaar in kamer. Kan dalk vir toekomstige gaste elektronies verskaf word.

Vriendelike plattelandse gasvryheid. Ons verblyf was aangenaam. Ja, dankie. Ons het laatmiddag gearriveer, maar dit was nie vir die gasvrou 'n probleem om ons te ontvang nie. Ten spyte van beurtkrag het die gasvrou verseker dat die geyser aangeskakel was en ons het geen ongerief verduur nie.
