Excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely venue. Accommodation was perfect for us and the garden provided a beautiful setting to relax. It is a very well-equipped venue, with welcoming, friendly hosts.

Lovely!

Short and simple but it was exactly what I needed. I think to call it a backpackers is a little misleading, because it is very well-maintained, very quiet and a level above what one might usually expect from a backpackers.

Hello Richard, thank you for your visit and very kind review. Geoff and I often think about changing the name as the 'backpacker' name often gives people the wrong impression of what we are. They have heard the horror stories. Those that come are wonderful, free-spirited and willing to give us a chance.

Heerlike en rustige plek. Dierbare eienaars. Plek is netjies en skoon. Beveel dit definitief aan!

McGregor is 'n wonderlike dorpie om die battery te herlaai. Alles is omtrent stapafstand van die verblyf. Lekker restaurante, pragtige kerk en soveel om net in te asem en te geniet!

Geoff and Dorothy are great. Their spot is clean and well kept, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Awesome night's rest after a long time on the road.

Well equipped, friendly owners and great little spots in town to get some supper or just to have a drink!

Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and overall beauty of the place.

Comfortable and well located accommodation.

We had a lovely stay at McGregor backpackers while visiting family in the area. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be staying here again when visiting the area.

Baie gemaklike blyplek. Heerlike warm stort, skoon, netjies, gemaklike tuis-gevoel, vriendelikke diens, goed ingerig, heerlike bed.

Gasvryheid om oor huis toe te skryf

Dorothy was 'n gasvrou van formaat! Sy en Geoff het ons soos ou vriende ontvang. Ons het selfs hulle huweliksherdenking saam gevier met borrels en tuisgebakte sjokoladekoek. Hierdie is nie 'n tipiese backpackers nie - ons het heerlik daar gekuier saam met ons 2 kinders onder 7 jaar oud. Die perseel is silwerskoon! Dorothy doen baie moeite met die binnehof-tuin, gesamentlike areas en kamers. Ons aansluitende kamers met badkamer was ruim genoeg vir ons al 4. Ons was baie spyt om net een aand in die backpackers te spandeer - maar ons sit dit defnitief op ons terugkeer-lysie.
