Description
Moon Mountain Lodge is a tented lodge located at the foot of the Naukluft Mountains. The lodge is situated 56 km from Sesriem; the gateway to Sossusvlei, home to the world’s highest dunes and close to the quaint little village of Solitaire.
Accommodation is offered in large airy rooms with the comforts of a luxury hotel suite, as well as infinite views from the bed or private splash pool. Each individually decorated cabin features a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a private deck.
Breakfast and dinner are included in the rates. Meals are served in the on-site restaurant, where Namibian and South African produce are used in the cuisine. Imported wines from the Cape can be enjoyed with meals.
The on-site bar is fully licensed and has a big adjoining sun deck where stars can be gazed upon at night. The deck also offers spectacular views over the Namib and Petrified Dunes in the distance. In addition, the lodge has a small cinema complete with a large flat-screen TV that has DStv channels, surround sound, and a DVD player. The cinema room is also suitable for small conferences of up to 17 delegates.
