Spectacular self catering accommodation. We have stayed many times at Naries and will be returning. The setting is incredible and the night sky is a real treat. The accommodation is very nice; our choice is the self catering cottages. They are nicely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements, cutlery and crockery. Naries is, in our opinion, the nicest place to stay in the Springbok area. It is a bit out of town, but this is possibly what makes it so special.

'n Stukkie hemel met hartlike gasvryheid en bederf tot in die fynste detail. Wat 'n wonderlike voorreg om hier 'n hemelse bederf te kon ervaar. Om by Naries Namakwa Retreat in een van die berghutte te gaan oornag, was een van die plekke op ons "bucket list". Om egter net een nag daar oor te slaap was gans te min! Ons is hartlik ontvang en die personeel het uit hul pad gegaan om ons tuis te laat voel en aandete te skuif sodat ons eers kon aflaai en verfris na die lang dag se ry vanuit die Richtersveld. Groot waardering vir uitstekende en vriendelike diens met watertand lekker etes by 'n heerlike warm kaggelvuur. Lieflike verblyf tot in die fynste detail in 'n ongelooflike mooi omgewing. Ons sal moet langer oorbly met 'n volgende keer.

Exceeded our expectations. Warm, friendly staff. Stunning location. A beautiful place and setting. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would love to visit again during the flower season.

Lekker kos. Alhoewel die ligging en kos baie goed was, sou ek dit nie die gesinseenhede weer gebruik nie. Hulle staan heel dag in die son wat dit dan ongelooflik warm in die nag maak. Met geen lugversorging of muskietnette nie, is dit amper onmoontlik om te slaap a.g.v. die hitte binne in die kamers.

Remote and scenic. The place is absolutely stunning. The location is very scenic, and the units blend beautifully into the landscape. The food is very tasty. The units are spacious and very comfortable. What kind of got me a bit is that there is not clarity on what is included in rates and what isn't - we were offered welcome drinks, but only when we asked; we were told that they are charged extra. If we didn't ask, this would've been a surprise. Self-catering units do not have air conditioning, and it was very hot (despite that it was already late April) and no WiFi. Keeping the above in mind - the place is still a wonderful venue for a few days' stay.

We came to see the flowers and we're not disappointed. This is such a beautiful place. We wished that we had booked for 4 nights. The walks and scenery are breathtaking and the hospitality and food were really top class.

Fantasties. Baie luukse berg chalet met mees fantastiese uitsigte van Boesmanland vanaf Spaktakelberg. Was elke sent die moeite werd. Werklik iets besonders. Vyfster-akkomodasie.

Great stay! There was lots to do and see in the area. The staff were wonderful and the location was fantastic. Rooms were very well stocked and comfortable. We would love to visit again sometime. We were disappointed by the final bill that we forgot to settle up (our mistake), but now fully paid. It would be good to notify clients when they will be charged for extras such as the welcome teas when we arrived. Also, some of our meals were not included in the price that we paid up front. We understood that sundowner drinks were extra. A menu presented prior to our order could have solved this dilemma as we brought all our food and drinks.
