My stay was pleasant, peaceful and relaxing. The host is very friendly and considerate. The WiFi is fantastic - fast and uninterrupted. There is a TV but I did not use it. The bed was great - I slept like a baby. The bathroom is spacious, and the shower is very nice. I appreciated the little refrigerator - I could keep my snacks and cold drinks cold overnight. I felt safe. The area seems to be fairly quiet and had a nice atmosphere - old, well-established area with big trees. Number 57 will definitely be my first choice for overnight stay if I have to sleep over again for work.

Clean and host helpful, but we did not get what was advertised. Clean and host helpful. TV's did not work on arrival Thursday, was fixed Saturday. There were 5 of us and we made it clear we would be braaiing etc. but without explanation, we had no access to the communal kitchen and dining room as advertised as the manager stays in.

Excellent. Lorraine is absolutely amazing and friendly. I enjoyed my short stay and will definitely be back to enjoy the garden.

Spacious, clean, secure, value for money, good location and friendly host. Host was very helpful. Met us personally on arrival and departure. Well located to all areas nearby, like restaurants bars galleries etc.

Mufreuk in kamer. Baie lekker geslaap. Die kamer het wel soos nat hond / muf geruik, was nie 'n lekker ondervinding nie.

Tv not working, no aircon, no bathroom shampoos etc. No bottled water and no Wi-Fi. Lorraine was lovely and very welcoming but could do more for that price.

We would like to state categorically, that the review from Dee Judd bears no semblance of the said property. 1. The TV does indeed work. The battery for the remote was probably flat at the time. The TV could have been operated manually. As the majority of guests utilize their own devices, to stream Netlix and the likes, we were not aware that the battery for the remote was flat. 2. With regard to Air Con. The room is not air conditioned. Also, we do not advertise air conditioning as an amenity. The room however, does have a working ceiling fan. 3. Shampoo. We do have shampoo. Shampoo is stored in the bathroom cupboard. Once again 99% of guests prefer using their own toiletries, especially shampoo, due ones own hair specifications. 4. WIFI - Not only does the property have WIFI, but has high speed unlimited fibre optical. For the record this can be verified with Vumatel who incidentally has been our services provider for over 10 years since its inception For just under R600 per night, one would regard it quite optimistic to expect air conditioning bearing in mind the running cost and installation.

Very convenient and an excellent stay. House 57 was very convenient and is situated a few minutes walk from the vibrant, bustling 4th Ave. Lorraine is an excellent host and communicator.
