We always welcome a review from a guest be it positive or negative as we always endeavour to improve our service levels.
Regarding the malfunctioning tumble drier:The tenant had my personal mobile number and had the problem been reported it would have been addressed the same day, as upon reading the review I sent out Lagoon-Side Electrical to assess; a fuse was replaced and the tumble drier was fine. All the appliances are manufactured by Bosch and were purchased in 2011, and to assume that they are old is an incorrect perception.
I apologise for the footprint in the shower, and discussed it with our cleaning service. However, regarding the condensation water marks on bathroom wall the following: The bathroom is double volume and is tiled to a height of 2 meters while the top two thirds are painted. Unfortunately most bathrooms on Thesen Islands that have the top part painted is prone to condensation marks. Please note there is no mould or mildew. We had a burst geyser a month ago and the insurers replaced the ceiling in bathroom, and repainted the bathroom walls. Thus this bathroom was repainted recently. I have no further comment on this.
Regarding the inner water damage to the empty and unused linen cupboard in bathroom the following: I am aware of this and the insurers are in the process of installing a new cupboard. This damage was also due to the burst geyser. Regarding the TV that is not compatible with the guests laptop: I would rather not comment as we advertise this unit as having TV and full DStv bouquet only. Perhaps the guest is mistaken regarding the amp and sound system as upon inspection it worked fine.
