Peaceful, stunning gardens, comfortable and lovely accommodation and very relaxing. The perfect spot for a relaxed and quiet rest, away from the busy coastal areas over peak season. Although Stillbaai is only 35 minutes away (and is lovely), apart from heading to the coast for one of our days, our group of friends and family just really enjoyed being at Oude Eik for the other 4 days. The 1.6 hectare property is like a botanical garden, which we all loved - ball games and just reading under the trees, evening braais and just chilling. The pool is long and fabulous. The accommodation is very thoughtfully decorated and caters for couples and families, with en-suite rooms and a double storey farmhouse. Special bonus that our doggy Rufus was able to enjoy the holiday with us - he absolutely loved the lawns. Thank you so much - we hope to come again 🩷.
