Description
Our Hermanus House is a beautifully furnished, self-catering home, situated in a quiet street, one block from the heart of Hermanus. The house is ideally located in a quiet cul de sac within 5 minutes walking distance from the village, the cliff paths, the tidal pool, restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.
This serviced villa accommodates a maximum of 8 adults, 4 children under the age of 12, and 2 infants in cots. The house offers 4 large double bedrooms, a bunk room for 4 children, a culinary inspired kitchen, a large comfortable lounge with a fireplace, TV and library, and hip and trendy interiors throughout. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, wine fridge, oven and stove, and microwave.
Each bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower or bath. The bunk room for children contains 2 bunk beds. Cots for infants can be provided if needed. Both bath and shower facilities are available.
The house is set in a manicured, tranquil garden with calming water features, a large salt water, solar heated swimming pool with pool chaises and large comfy chairs under gazebos. It boasts a large built-in covered outside sitting area with a fire pit. This area also has a gas braai and dining area. There is a covered patio with a lounge and breakfast area leading onto the swimming pool.
This villa has solar panel and inverter system, which provides backup power to the Wi-Fi, lights and light-duty appliances. Our rain water is used to fill our pool and ponds and for irrigation.
The location offers easy access to a 27-hole golf course and Fernkloof Nature Reserve. Whale-viewing and shark-viewing trips can be enjoyed in season.
