Fabulous bushveld stay. Just the most fabulous location far from the maddening crowd. Beautifully kept reserve, with lovely walks and game drives. Very good hosts, and the cottage we stayed in was absolutely perfect. Will certainly be back!

Very peaceful and relaxing. Nice Bushvelder experience. Place was clean and well maintained. Each cottage has a nice large site and is private. Outdoor showers are a winner.

Lovely location a real getaway. Peaceful. Kingfisher cottage is perfectly suited for a large family with two adjoining rondavels with own bathrooms. What an awesome trail running venue! Staying at the Palala River Cottage is such a pleasure. It is remote enough to relax and unwind in a peaceful bush setting, yet accessible enough not to need a 4x4. The well-equipped self-catering cottage on the banks of the Palala River had everything we needed and the option of game drives or guided walks. In my opinion, the greatest aspect of the Jembisa Private Game Reserve is to be able to walk, ride or run freely around the 3000-ha property. Amazing Wow, wow, wow. What an awesome place. The hospitality from our arrival to our departure was top notch. The most beautiful views and silence are just what you will find here, away from everything. It was the first time, but not the last time.
