Comfortable and affordable. We had a wonderful time, the house was very clean and comfortable, everything you needed was there and items which are not normally included. The area is good as there is a small shopping centre down the road.

Sarin & Marius were great with us, accommodating and great people. We felt like we were home. We had enough room, very modern spaces. Sarin & Mfenandala (Marius) had Christmas decor put up for us. We felt safe and barely needed anything during our stay as it was already provided or made available.

Large house but quite dark. Pleasant hosts and a house full of antiques and various knickknacks. It would be ideal for a large group as there are four bedrooms. We chose it because our other reservation was cancelled at the last minute, and this was the only place available with three bedrooms. The house is dark. Although there are two patios, both are enclosed, one with a heavy tarp (understandable as the main patio looks out on the neighbour's parking area). The house is on the main highway, so there is traffic noise. The owner's daughter gave us about twenty keys and asked us to close and lock a second gate on the driveway. There are even burglar bars inside the house and on every door. That didn't make us feel secure.

Hi Soren, thank you for staying with us and for your review. It's unfortunate that you didn't feel secure, but having burglar bars in front of all windows, security gates in front of all exterior doors as well as secure parking are all requirements set by insurance companies in South Africa; it's not an indication of any security problems in our area. The blinds (tarpaulins) at the patios, which can easily be opened by pulling the roller strings, are there to protect the furniture from sun damage and rain drift, especially on the main patio, which looks out on the second entrance and parking to our property and not that of the neighbours. We hope and trust that your group will enjoy the rest of your stay in South Africa, and I hope that we will be able to visit the Netherlands in the future.
