Loved the area. On the whole, we enjoyed our stay. The cottage, surrounds, area and birding opportunities were fabulous. One small hitch is that the cottage is close to the staff quarters and the first night, they were quite noisy. The other nights were OK. Hence the reduced rating for location.

Geen kommunikasie vanaf die eienaars nie. Ons het die aand laat by die Pennygum Cottages aangekom. Die inkloktyd is 19:00. Ons het vooraf gereël met Pierre dat ons later eers daar sal kan arriveer en daar was vir ons gesê ons moet net bel as ons daar kom. Ons het om en by 18:30 by die hek gestop, en gebel en geen van ons oproepe was geantwoord nie. Ons het omgery na 'n hek wat oopgestaan het en het gaan klop aan gaste wat reeds daar ingeboek is om vir ons te wys waarheen ons kan gaan. Die huis se deur wat ons geboek het het net oopgestaan. Ons het geen kommunikasie vanaf die eienaars gekry voor of na ons verblyf geboek was nie. Behalwe vir dit, was ons verblyf baie aangenaam.

Pleasant stay, owners give excellent service and farm stay at its best! Highly recommended! Owners are friendly and helpful! Lovely cottage with feeling of love and care. Everything needed and more. Feels like a farm stay, friendly dogs, braai facilities, good WiFi. Africa Rooftop Tours picked us up at the gate for a splendid 4x4 tour in Lesotho up Sani Pass.

Skoon netjies, gesellig, mooi uitsig en goeie diens. Dit was 'n baie aangename ondervinding. Ons was 'n groot groep en het baie welkom gevoel. Die uitsig is asemrowend en diens was van die beste!

Comfy and sweet. We had the most magnificent holiday enjoying the orchards and surrounding sites and activities. Our cottage was small, warm and comfortable. The only thing that was a minor frustration is the one bathroom door that knocks into the bedroom door, but the kids didn't mind and it wasn't a major issue. The views were spectacular and watching the sunset behind the mountains was just breathtaking! Amazing restaurants about 2 to 5 kilometers away in either direction and horse-riding just up the road, too. Plenty for the kids to do.

Comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings. We had a very comfortable overnight, beautiful environment, staff member was friendly and helpful. Would have been nice to be welcomed by the owner but we believe they were still moving in having just taken over.
