Beautiful wooden house, fully equipped with everything we needed. Awesome wooden house with a beautiful view. Natashia, who was the contact person, is very friendly, helpful and welcomed us with open arms.

Baie aangenaam en pragtig op die water. Baie lekker, dankie. Chalets bietjie naby aan mekaar, maar geen probleme nie. 'n Stofie vir die winter sal wel lekker wees.

Very nice cabin. Very nice place on the river. Lots of activities in the area for the kids as well as grown-ups. The house is just under-equipped regarding kitchen utensils etc., but otherwise we had a wonderful time and would definitely go again.

This whole unit looks old and uninviting. Will not stay there again. The chalet needs a serious upgrade. The furniture is old and dingy. The bathroom has no shower. Taps are so old you can't open or close them properly. The carpeting in the bedrooms is old.

Rip-off and extremely disappointing. We stayed at no. 13, it was a total rip-off. They charged R4500 per night, but in my opinion, it was only worth R1500 per night. Unit number 13 was old inside with old decor and furniture, faulty equipment, dirty stained couches which were super uncomfortable, stained and dirty carpets, broken sink tap, patched ceiling not done properly, patched walls where they did electrical maintenance or something with it not dont properly looked shoddy and like a backstreet job was done, walls dirty, cheap and nasty little gas stove with top dented in so pots and pans lay unlevel and back right burner was dangerous when you lit it with a match there were flames all over and had to be shut off to prevent a disaster, dented fridge with with missing shelves & holders inside, rusted curtain tracks, rusted coffee table and TV unit, TV unit glass top didn't even fit the unit top properly, short a lot of kitchen cutlery(no egg lifter), no coffee plunger, no tongs for braai wood on fire, no washing machine, no dishwasher, linen & towles were stained, bathroom tiles old chipped and grotty finish, toilet seat old and broken underneath, WiFi was so slow that no DSTV TV could be watched, TV remote didn't work well, allocated parking bay is under tree so everyday my car was full of bird poo and berry stuff, the caretaker person stored kayaks and boats on our braai(bbq) area so we had people constantly coming through our area hiring and launching kayaks leaving them all in our way when they got back and sometimes taking over our allocated braai and chill area with their belonging because of this. Loud music from permanent residents/owners next door disturbed us from enjoying the tranquillity of the river. Had contractors and workers come through our unit while we were out and my fishing rod stand went missing. Park's facility equipment was stored in our basement area so workers were constantly in and out of the basement under us which was very disturbing. They stored at least 9 x 19kg lpg full gas bottles underneath our wooden cabin which is a risk and illegal to store on one premises like that. We were there for 7 nights, and we had to spend most of our days out at great expense, due to all the above issues. This was a total waste of money and we will try to never stay there again. No value for money. Maybe other units not owned by these owners are better, I don't know.

Child friendly, relaxing, amazing. The location is perfect. Having access to the river the whole weekend was next level, and my child (8 years old) had such a ball being able to canoe whenever he wants and catch fish by himself. Our hostess was amazing and friendly. I would recommend packing in some extra lights as the cottage is a bit dark being in the shade the whole day. We will most definitely go again!
