Description
Pondokkie offers 'off the beaten track' rustic eco-living on a farm with natural surroundings. Pondokkie, which is part of the Sandpiper Guest Cottages portfolio, is located in the peaceful, serene, and rustic seaside village of Boggomsbaai within the Fransmanshoek Conservancy area. Boggomsbaai is approximately halfway between Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) in the Eastern Cape, and Cape Town in the Western Cape.
Pondokkie can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 guests. There area 2 bedrooms with double beds. Both of these rooms lead to the kitchen and dining area fitted with a gas stove, and oven, cutlery and crockery, a gas refrigerator and a round 4-seater dining table and chairs. This area leads to a lounge area that contains a single bed, seating for 6 and an indoor braai fireplace. There is Wi-Fi, but no television.
Outdoor bathroom as well as, outdoor open-air bath and a shower. Pondokkie has a covered outdoor patio with seating as well as a large boma firepit area with seating.
Guests have use of the facilities at the Sandpiper Sport and Leisure Centre. The leisure centre offers tennis courts, a squash court, sauna and is fully licensed.
Pondokkie offers a rustic eco-lifestyle for nature lovers who prefer a house above camping and love all creatures great and small.
