Noisy and unpleasant. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the housekeeper, and we found the chalet to be tidy and clean, which we appreciated. However, the owner did not inform us in advance about the construction activities taking place directly opposite the chalet. The noise from the construction, commencing around 07:00 in the morning and ending around 17:00, was very disruptive and significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the tranquility of the bushveld. As a result, we felt compelled to shorten our stay, departing after just one night. Additionally, I had to reach out to the owner the day before our arrival to obtain access gate details for Mabalingwe, indicating a lapse in proactive communication. For guests seeking peace and quiet, I would advise inquiring about the status of nearby construction projects before booking, as ongoing work may affect the serenity of the environment.

Enjoyed our stay at Pumula Bush Chalet. Nice location. Clean and quiet environment. Great chalet. Well maintained and very clean. Will visit again.

Amazing. The stay and unit was really amazing and ticked all the boxes - from amenities, to cleanliness, to value for money. A major advantage is the air conditioners to keep the unit cool, and the inverter for during load shedding.
