Description
Ria's Rest Self Catering Cottage is a charming unit located in Sedgefield, situated within the picturesque Sedgefield Island Conservancy. This ecosystem has been internationally recognized as a World Heritage Site, and it is home to the endangered Knysna Seahorses, which breed in the vlei around the Island.
This solar-powered unit can comfortably accommodate 2 guests and is furnished with 2 single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The unit has an open-plan kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, toaster, induction plate, gas cooker, air fryer, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It extends to the dining area and further opens to the lounge with comfy chairs and a TV. Fibre is also available.
Guests can enjoy a lovely lawn where kids can play freely, as well as a swimming pool where everyone can cool off and relax.
The property is a 10-minute walk to the water's edge and is in close proximity to all swimming and dog-friendly beaches, restaurants, and estuaries. Guests can enjoy views of "Cloud 9," which is an internationally recognized paragliding hangout. Additionally, the property is within walking distance of the famous Farmer's markets, including The Wild Oats, Mosaic, and Scarab markets. An 8-minute drive will take guests to Gericke's Point, where abundant rock pools and sea life can be explored.
