Netjies, lekker ontbyt. Netjiese verblyf vir 'n klein dorpie, lekker restaurant area wat op die rivier uitkyk.

Riverview Lodge needs a little love to make it a special place to visit. Riverview Lodge needs a good clean-up: inside and out. The garden needs a broken-down trailer removed and the garden needs attention. Staff wash their clothes and they hang everywhere. The rooms are dated, the carpet in our room was dreadful, and the shower needs a good clean. The staff were great, from the lady at reception to the waitress, etc. The food options were limited and expensive for what we got (and we are used to Joburg prices!). The tables were dirty, the plastic covers filled with burn holes, the mugs chipped, and the balustrade full of cobwebs, etc. The place needs a little love to make it a pleasant place to stay at. The coffee sachets were Ricoffy but old as they were hard, etc. It's really expensive for what you get. I get the feeling it's the only place to stay in the area and they realise this, and thus no need to make the place neat and tidy. No outside furniture to enjoy while you wait for the restaurant to open. I wouldn't recommend it.
