Comfortable and warm. Our host was accommodating given our delayed arrival owing to the snow. He lit a fire to warm the house prior to our arrival, which was much appreciated.

Not too pleasant. The cleanliness was not up to standard. There was a very dirty rug on the floor in the lounge, the pots and pans were very dirty, the kettle had black bits coming off into the water, and the placemats for the table were really grubby and had food stuck to some of them. Not all the plates on the stove were working. All the cupboards in the kitchen need a really good clean. The drains for the showers in the front two bathrooms were blocked. The sleeper couch was suitable for a child - not an adult. The back bedrooms need some basic maintenance, in terms of broken clothes stands and a shelf missing one of the arms.

Baie ruim spasie vir lekker kuier. Naby aan trou venue gewees. Baie rustig en skoon lug. Die stap op die plaas was ook verfrissend. Enigste negatiewe aspek is die yskas het nie 100% verkoel nie.

It was a very enjoyable stay and very spacious. The fridge was not working and the owner was informed early in the day but did not make any arrangements to have it repaired. This should have been checked prior to our arrival, along with the entire premises as a whole. Definitely need to consider installing fans/air conditioners due to the hot weather in the area. The fire/braai area needs to have some kind of shelter due to the weather conditions. It is not ideal to braai in the rain or hot sun. The place should be fumigated regularly to address the ant problem.
