Baie mooi, rustige plek, moderne huisies en die ligging is ideaal! Ons was 'n familie met van klein kinders tot ouma/oupa en die plek was ideaal vir almal. Ligging is baie ideaal van die hoofpad af vir oornag. Plek is baie rustig, baie mooi en die huisies is baie mooi binne met alles wat mens nodig het.

Baie lekker. Baie lekker, skoon, vriendelike mense, behulpsaam, baie mooi plek in die natuur, ons was baie gelukkig met die verblyf.

Rejuvenating. Excellent. Real getaway from the city. Absolutely peaceful and serene. Exactly what we needed. The only negative is the condition of the road getting to the lodge. Muddy and had difficulty getting out due to wet weather, although thankfully just less than a km. It would be nice if it were tarred at some point. Helpful and friendly host and staff.

Baie lekker gebly en lekker gebraai. Geriewe voldoende en diens baie goed. Ons het lekker gebly. Toerusting volledig behalwe dat dit 'n vierbed eenheid met net twee wynglase is. Nog twee versoek omdat ons al vier wyndrinkers is, maar daar was blykbaar nie beskikbaar nie. Moes maar uit koeldrankglase drink.

Did not meet expectation. Cold, cement floor and counters. Bedroom and kitchen in one room. Bathroom ceiling covered in mould. Stove is high, need to stand on steps to cook.

Rosetta Fields Country Lodge

Dear Sue, Thank you for staying at Rosetta Fields Country Lodge and thank you for your feedback. Allow me to address the issues you mentioned. Our lodge is on a farm and it's not practical to have carpet in the units. The kitchen area is tiled with expensive porcelain tiles and the bedroom section is covered with a cement based decorative coating used in high-end homes and lodges. The kitchen counter is covered in a special coating and is not raw cement. We inspected the bathroom ceiling, and there were a few spots of mould which have been resolved. It's misleading to state that the entire ceiling was covered in mould. The counter top is standard height according to standard regulations. You booked a studio unit, which is quite large and airy. If you wanted a separate bedroom, you should have booked one of our other units. We suggest that next time you make a booking, read the description of the unit before booking.

Recommended as a base to explore the Midlands Meander. The host was superb. Thank you. The room was comfortably appointed, with a gorgeous extra large bathroom and everything needed to self-cater.
