Located along Cape Town’s picturesque West Coast in a private nature reserve, Sanderling Beach House is situated a mere 300 meters from the shore in the quiet security estate of Grotto Bay.
The beach house accommodates 6 guests and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and offers an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the third bedroom has 2 single beds. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. Additionally, there is an external laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, and an additional fridge. The open-plan living area boasts a dining table, comfortable seating, and a TV with DStv, Netflix, and Disney+. The lounge area is powered by an inverter, ensuring that all entertainment services and Wi-Fi remain unaffected by load shedding. The house is also equipped with lithium battery bulbs for lighting, and the gas hob in the kitchen allows guests to prepare food during load-shedding outages.
The large wooden deck takes centre stage, offering uninterrupted sea views over the fynbos. A swimming pool on the deck ensures guests can cool down during the hot summer months. Part of the deck is, undercover and includes a built-in braai, an outdoor dining area for 6, and a lounge area for enjoying morning coffee or sundowners as the sun sets over the ocean.
