Hi Luthando
It is never pleasant to receive a complaint of this magnitude. While we are open to criticism, the accusations made are not entirely true. The said client stayed at the Savoy on the 15th of December, 23. At that time, the hotel still had free unoccupied rooms to which we could have moved the people to, if only they mentioned that they were unhappy. Considering it was the commencement of the festive season, we thought we were doing well by arranging music for the enjoyment of all patrons. Some appreciate the gesture, others complain. Our rooms are serviced daily unless specifically asked not to do so. We let this specific room to many people during this festive period without any complaints. We have also had many of your clients stay in our rooms without any issues. Nonetheless, we have filed a formal complaint with our housekeeping division to investigate. What complicates the issue slightly is that the complaint was made three weeks ago. Our aim is to have happy customers, and we strive to provide a good service all-round. We offer additional amenities for the enjoyment of all our guests, although I must add, at a significant cost. We are sorry to have received such a complaint and will continue with our efforts to do better.
Regards,
Braam Lamprecht
