It was really great.

I enjoyed my stay. I will definitely recommend this place. The staff were friendly, and the food at the restaurant was good. I am happy I chose this place for my solo vacation. It was really worth it.

We loved our weekend. The resort has a lot to offer to keep everyone happy.

Our stay was very pleasant. We were in Unit 12. The maintenance and cleanliness of that unit could be better. The grass around the little pool has little thorn bushes. Children will not be able to play on that grass without shoes (we learned the hard way!). The kitchen needs upgrading. The layout of the unit is very good and spacious.

Hated alarm testing done at 2am till 5am Sunday, load shedding, no WiFi.

Nie te sleg nie.

Ontvangs se personeel was baie vriendelik. Die kamer was netjies, net jammer ons het nie die eerste aand handdoeke gehad nie. Die gaste langsaan was tot na 01:00 lawaaierig, albei aande wat ons oorgeslaap het. Ongelukkig is die sein baie swak, ons kon dit nie rapporteer nie. Die gaste in die eenheid oorkant ons het 3 honde gehad wat heeltyd geblaf het. Die lodge kamers is nie privaat nie, sal eerder ander eenhede bespreek in die toekoms. Load shedding is ongelukkig steeds 'n probleem, inverters vir die kamers of eenhede sal lekker wees om darem 'n foon te kan charge of hare te blaas. Die personeel by die ontbyt restaurant was baie vriendelik!

Not good.

No WiFi, no black bags, cleaning starts and wakes us up at 09:00.

Not great, will not recommend.

This establishment smelt of neglect. The shower door was broken, as were the blinds and cutlery. The glassware did not match. The swimming pool, especially the heated pool, was smelly and dirty. Our room was not ready upon arrival, and we were told to wait for an hour. It was really not a wonderful stay, quite disappointing.

Frustrating. Uncomfortable. Miserably bad. Bad network coverage.

Bad and uncomfortable. We complained from the minute we entered the house. Our stay was frustrating. No bath towels, shower mats. Not enough kitchen cutlery for self-catering unit. Had to wait two hours before we checked in, and we were told they were still cleaning, but when we arrived in the unit, it was like no one even bothered to clean.

Never again.

Please do read my review before booking at the Seasons. The staff at reception was welcoming and friendly, but the service at the resort itself was horrendous. The chalet furniture is old and filthy. The throw pillows were so dirty that I left them on the ground after the cleaners would put them back on the couches. There were cracked tiles, and the microwave was filthy. There was no mop and a dirty broom. The cleaners are very friendly and tried to assist when we asked them for help. The beds in the rooms are old and falling apart; they definitely need to be replaced. The fridge was not working properly, and the shelves were removed. After complaining, they brought another fridge which had other problems. So we had 2 fridges that were old and not working properly. There was a power outage one night just after 6pm, and we sat in the dark for hours. We had to phone reception from our cell phones (with very bad reception) about 7 times asking for ETA and candles and candle holders because there were none in the chalet. They eventually brought the candles with no candle holders, so we had to use the bowls. We felt very unsafe and uncertain as we could not see anything in this strange, never been before place. The person on duty just kept on saying he does not know and then started ignoring our calls. The power only came on the next day at 12h00. The braai area was a total disaster as the roof was leaking; we had rain the same night the power was off. We had to once again phone reception to ask maintenance to assist, after which the maintenance person tried to assist as best he could but also with some attitude and a bit of kick back and blaming everyone else. They took a pool cover to throw over half of the roof, so we could not even enjoy the outside area or use the braai. This did not solve the problem as the rain was still pouring through the roof. There were no fans in the chalet; we had to ask for a fan. The master upstairs bedroom had a TV bracket and cable, but the TV was missing. This is unacceptable as we book according to what is offered online. The restaurant service was very poor; they were out of stock of so many things that it became frustrating just sitting there. The menu had very few options and was very expensive. The waitress, after the 4th time of asking something, just rolled her eyes at me and could not understand what I was asking. My husband spoke to the manager; my husband listed all the issues, and he was not very helpful or understanding. The manager basically shrugged us off and said there is nothing he can do as the chalets are under the “holiday club” or something to that effect, but he is the establishment's manager. This could be a lovely holiday destination, but due to poor management, it was really a bad experience, and we will not recommend it to anyone. The monkeys were a huge problem; there were way too many and out of control and aggressive. This is nature, I do understand, but they have to advise/inform you that the monkeys are a problem and/or that they are looking into a humane solution to this problem. We had to find out ourselves that the monkeys are a problem, with the monkeys coming into the chalet front door while we are sitting outside and grabbing our food, and the monkeys literally throwing stones at us. One of the main reasons for the monkeys being around for so long is that the dustbins outside had no lids, so they were digging out the garbage. We had to go into our chalet for more than an hour, waiting for the monkeys to calm down and quiet down. I think for what you pay a night vs what we got, we were robbed. The “Grocery shop” tuck shop hardly has any stock, and also after inquiring, the cashier was not very helpful. We all work hard to have a nice, deserved “not for free” break, but we truly feel some sense of being robbed. The security at the gate checks your boot one day, and the other days lets you through without checking. I do not even want to know what chaos it will be on public holidays with day visitors entering the resort because they cannot even manage and control or assist the visitors that had booked accommodation. We had to make the best out of a bad situation. Rooms rated 1 out of 5. Service rated 1 out of 5. Location rated 3 out of 5. Overall rating 1 star. Only after writing my own review did I see all the bad reviews, and everyone had the same issues. This is not acceptable, and people should be offered their money back because I feel it is way too expensive to be given this service.

Beautiful location, pleasant and friendly staff.

Rooms are clean. A bar fridge and basic cutlery would be helpful. The food was great at the restaurant, but expanding the menu is needed. The spa services and staff were exceptionally great.

Great for families with young kids.

Great place to visit especially if you have kids. The unfortunate part was that the check-in time is stated as 15:00, but the actual check-in time at the establishment is 16:00.

It was funtabulous.

The only challenge was the lack of backup power. We used candles.

Netjiese verblyf, maar glad nie rustig nie.

Alhoewel ons lekker verblyf gehad het, was dit baie raserig met baie harde musiek en geskreeu van ander gaste wat tot middernag aangehou het. Die eenheid was glad nie soos wat ons bespreek het nie. Die swembadwater was baie vuil.

Baie lekker plek, maar verkeerde eenheid aan ons toegedien.

Geen van die beddens het "fitted sheets" op gehad nie. Het dit twee keer gerapporteer.

The noise level from the other guests was terrible. We could not sleep at night as they were making noise till the wee hours of the morning. No phones in the rooms so we couldn't even call reception to report this. No security personnel in sight.

Lekker. Gholfbaan kort beleggers. Incheck-tyd was 16:00. Belaglike tyd.

I am disappointed.

The hotel should alert guests upon booking that their own transport is essential as they do not have a shuttle service. I had to walk to the gate with my children which is about 10 to 15 Km from the room to try to get a Bolt. As the place is far out we had to sit in the heat and wait as it took an hour to get Bolt. My son needed an iron, we phoned housekeeping and after waiting an hour he had to walk to reception where he was told to go back, housekeeping will bring it. They arrived 2 hours later with the iron. The toilet had a small water leak. Wifi only works in the reception area and not in the rooms.

Ek sal nie sommer weer soontoe gaan nie. Die huis is awesome en die ligging is goed, maar om bure te hê wat heelnag kliphard musiek speel en niks daaraan gedoen word nie, al probeer jy ook skakel, niemand antwoord die telefoon nie. Dit is glad nie die moeite werd nie. Mens betaal ten duurste vir die verblyf en hulle het nie 'n kragopwekker nie, wat dit 'n nagmerrie maak veral met ons somer temperatuur en jy nie die lugversorger kan aanskakel nie. Wat ook sleg is, jy kan eers 16:00 in klok en dan die volgende oggend weer 10:00 uit klok. So weereens betaal mens baie geld vir 'n baie kort tydperk.

Volgens advertensie is inklok 15:00, maar ons moes meer as 'n uur wag vir ons villa se sleutel, volgens ontvangs is inklok eers 16:00. Na ons 'n 3de keer moes bel sodat die kluis reggemaak word (elke keer stuur hulle glo iemand, maar niemand daag op nie) het ons eers verneem dat die kluis nie meer vir gaste se gebruik is nie. Die handdoekreling is eers die 2de dag van ons verblyf kom regmaak. Die skoonmaker kon ons nie help met 'n asdromswartsak sodat ons dit kon vervang nie. Geen skottelgoedseep was beskikbaar nie. Skuifdeure kan nie behoorlik gesluit word nie, almal is by die slotte gebreek. In die kombuis se laaie was daar swart matjies onder die messe ens. wat 'n aaklige reuk afgee. Die oond se deur kan nie behoorlik toemaak nie, ons kon dit nie gebruik nie. Die restaurant het geen chips gehad nie. Selfoonsein is baie swak, wifi-opvangs is slegs beskikbaar by ontvangs. Ons het wel die beste diens by die gholfklub ontvang.

Utterly disappointing, looked nothing like the pictures.

The unit was right next to a development. Upon entering, the trash was not removed. The kitchen cupboards were broken. I requested another unit which had the most unsafe staircase, bathrooms were not clean. Basic essentials were lacking. Highly not recommended.

Uiters teleurgesteld.

Ons het vroeg gereël (ongeveer 'n week vroeër) om teen 14:30 in te klok, 30 min vroeër as per die bespreking. Ongelukkig het ons verkeer getref en eers teen 15:30 gearriveer. Per aankoms en na al die papierwerk voltooi is, is daar vir ons gesê ons gaan 20 min moet wag want die verblyf is steeds nie gereed nie. Uiters teleurgesteld want ons reis met baba's. Per aankoms by die eenheid, word ons vertel dat daar geen handdoeke is nie, en dit binnekort afgelewer sal word. Geen handdoeke die eerste dag afgelewer nie. Geen swartsakke in die een piepklein asblik nie. Party kamers het handeroom, maar geen seep of handewas nie. Ons het die reception geskakel, maar slegs beloftes. Geen reaksie. Die volgende dag met die skoonmakers het ons ook gevra. Maar slegs slegte houding en ongeskikte maniere is ontvang. Ons het weer die reception gebel. Geen reaksie. Na 3 oproepe en 2 besoeke (oor 'n 5 uur periode) aan die reception, is daar handdoeke afgelewer. Maar steeds geen swart sakke of toilet toebehore nie - blykbaar is hulle uit voorraad. Wat swak is, is dat sommige kamers dit gehad het, logo en al, maar ander nie. Daar is later twee koekies seep afgelewer. Weereens met uiters ongeskikte houdings. Twee uit die vier kamers kon nie deure sluit na binne of buite nie. Sal nooit hulle aanbeveel weens die houding en diens nie. Alhoewel die wooneenheid mooi was (maar nie genoeg eetgerei en glase gehad het nie) en ons heerlik en privaat kon kuier, sal ek nooit hulle aanbeveel nie! Uiters teleurgesteld vir die prys wat ons betaal het!

Unhygienic and dirty.

The upstairs bedroom's sliding door's glass is filthy, can't see through it. No bulb in the bedside lamp. The toilet is loose and not cemented to the floor. Sticky, oily substance on the floor. Window sills have cobwebs etc. Towel (white) stained with pink mark. Downstairs. The bathroom and toilet windows are full of cobwebs. There were no forks in the utensil tray. Toaster broken. Blue fly dead in cupboard where glass bowls are kept. The fridge was broken inside, with such limited space, so we had to build towers on the two racks provided. Couches were filthy. The floor was definitely not clean. Even after housekeeping was there, they mop over dirt and don't sweep out first. The last straw was making an appointment at the spa for 6 pm on Tuesday, the 19th, only to be told that they don't have our appointment. The condescending attitude and looks from the staff were the last straw. They did try to accommodate us but by then I was fuming. The grounds are well kept and it is a beautiful concept but I will never be staying there again. The confirmed book-in time is at 3 pm but the resort only has unit "ready" by 4 pm.

Teleurstellend, ongeorganiseerde oord.

Van ons aankoms af, inkloktyd is 15h00, ons kon eers na 16h00 inboek want chalet was nie gereed nie, spa is ongeorganiseerd, niks verloop soos geboek nie, mense raas, skree, lag en gesels met harde musiek die hele naweek. Daar is geen rustigheid na 22h00 in die aand nie. Musiek speel sonder ophou oggend tot aand, sekuriteit het geen beheer oor mense nie. Chalet is onnet. Tafel in sitkamer was gebreek.

Overrated and overpriced!

Not at all as the photos advertised on the site. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow. There were no drinks menus so when the bill arrived we were shocked at the price of a bottle champagne. There's litter all around the pool area. Extremely overrated and overpriced!

Vriendelike mense, pragtige kamers met 'n baie mooi uitsig.

Vriendelike diens en baie behulpsame staff. Ons het baie lekker gekuier en pragtige sonondergang en uitsig gehad.

Overall, it was a nice stay. This was our second stay, and one thing did not change. The quality of the beds still remained poor/uncomfortable, after we previously complained. Our unit did not have sufficient parking, the unit next to ours parked in front of our unit whilst we had to park 2 parking’s away.

It was a relaxing time. We will be going back there again soon.

Baie lekker.

Met aankoms was daar geen pillowcase op gewees nie, geen badhanddoeke nie, wag 'n uur vir housekeeping om ons te help.

Ons bly altyd baie lekker daar.

Behalwe hierdie keer kon ons sien ons plekkie kort bietjie tlc. Die blindings was almal stukkend en die 1 aircon wou nie aansit nie. Die stoele is ook gebreek, maar die plek is baie oulik en op 'n mooi plek geleë. ons het die oornag baie geniet, maar Sondagoggend was daar oorkant ons 'n persoon wat vir die hele lodge musiek gemaak het van 6 uur die oggend af.

The stay is nice and clean.

It's a nice gateway and close, very nice rooms. Just the spa and restaurant that need better service.

Spa-dienste was baie goed. Akkommodasie was ok, maar sal graag wou sien dat hulle wynglase in die kamers het. Ook dat ons ontbyt kon ingesluit toe ons geboek het.

Daar was geen wynglase in die kamers nie, en ons het ook nie 'n opsie gehad om ontbyt te kon boek as deel van die akkommodasie nie. Veral omdat dit nie 'n self-catering unit was nie.

Gerieflik maar kan verbeter.

Ons het lekker gebly en die oord het goeie fasiliteite. Die eendheid waarin ons gebly het was nie so goed toegerus nie. Daar was byvoorbeeld geen panne, oondhandskoene, kerse (die krag was af) of ordentlike vadoeke nie. Die stort se drein was geblok en daar was net 2 handdoeke uitgesit vir die 2 onderste dubbelslaapkamers. Die sekuriteit van die oord kan verbeter, enige iemand kan toegang verkry deur te sê hulle gaan restaurant of spa toe.

No value for money. My room didn't have a bar fridge or bath tub. Fee excludes breakfast.

Oord se ontspanningsarea was goed, maar verblyf glad nie so goed.

Die webtuiste se diens was puik, maar die huisie was erg in dringende nood vir opknap. Kaste vol muf, meubels stukkend ens.

Aaklig, mors van tyd en geld.

Die bestuurder by ontvangs is ongeskik. Daar was vir ons gesê dat inkloktyd 15:00 is en dit was eers 16:00, sy het ons weggejaag en gesê ons moet 16:00 terugkom ipv om ons te vertel van hulle fasiliteite wat ons onsself mee kon besig hou tot en met ons kamer reg was. Dieselfde vrou bestuurder het nie haar masker op gehad nie. Hulle kon nie ons bespreking kry nie en dit was al die tyd onder my naam, dit het ons laat voel of ons nie 'n bespreking het nie. Toe ons 10 voor 4 teruggaan om ons kamer sleutel te kry toe is die sleutel weg en toe hulle hom vind was daar nie kussingslope nie en daarvoor moes ons eers voor wag, weereens was hulle ongeskik, die bestuurder het ons geignoreer. Ons kon eers net voor 5 in ons kamer inkom en kon net vir 'n kort rukkie swem voor dit donker word. Ons het by die restaurant langs ontvangs gaan eet die aand en dit was net ek en my man en een ander paartjie, ons het 45 minute gewag vir ons kos en toe dit aankom was dit verkeerd ook nog, hulle kaartmasjien het ook nie gewerk vir die 3de keer hierdie selfde dag alhoewel hulle se hulle kontantloos is by ontvangs. Die scooters wat nie deel is van die plek nie was die enigste aktiwiteit wat ons geniet het. Die badkamer stortkop is vol kalk en net 'n paar druppels kom uit so ek kon nie my hare was nie en moes bad. Daar was hare in die badkamer en oliekolle op die bed en taai merke op die bedkassie en die ander een is gevlek, die ketel is vuil en die lampies vol stof. Daar was vir ons gesê dat daar 'n parkeerplek is vir ons reg voor die plek, toe ons die aand van die restaurant af terugkom, was daar 2 ander karre wat besig was om oor hierdie parkeerplek te baklei, ons is toe op ontvangs toe waar daar vir ons jammer gesê en dat ons 'n ander parkeer plek moes soek, ons moes redelik ver van ons verblyf af parkeer en soontoe loop. Daar was mense met coolers by die swembad area en daar is 'n bordjie op wat se geen kos of koeldrank mag ingevat word nie, toe ons dit uitwys aan een van die personeel lede het hulle vir ons gesê dat ons nie ons cooler mag bring nie en moet koop by die klein eetplekkie by die swembad. As die bestuurder ons beter behandel het het ons seker verby al hierdie dinge gekyk en ons wegbreek geniet, ons was huis toe na een dag want ons wou nie langer daar bly nie. Ons wag nou nog vir terugbetaling en verder terugvoering van webtuiste af.

Bojanala omgewing bied baie aan toeriste, maar verblyf by Seasons het nie aan verwagting voldoen nie.

Onvoldoende parkering (een parkeerarea) vir 'n eenheid met 6 volwassenes. Swak diens van die skoonmaakpersoneel. Geen terugvoer van bestuur aangaande dinge wat onder hulle aandag gebring is nie.

I was very disappointed by poor customer care

My unit's air conditioning unit was out of order, the reception was informed and management was due to contact me. Nobody contacted me and even when calling the after hours numbers to address the noise levels. Nobody answered.

This was the worst amount of money I ever lost! Terrible place.

The lodge were not ready at 10am as organised for us. The kitchen could not give us food by 11am because I was told the kitchen needs to be cleaned and they not ready! When we got to our room only at 13:00 there was no bar fridge. The place looks like a flat. Not the same as the photos. There is a kitchen to share with the person staying next door, which we were not told about but none the less you also need to book this extra. Everything is extra and expensive. So basically you pay R1000 + for only a room with a bathroom. This is unacceptable. For a little more I could have stayed in Sun City's Cabannas. This is not a 4 star at all! I payed for 2 nights but the only highlight was the Tuesday. The manager said you only actually allowed to check in at 4pm and check out at 8am so you pay for a whole day and this is really not value for money. On the website the rooms looks like it is individual and private but there is absolutely no privacy. I feel that the website is also deceiving because surele someone should know about this bad set up. It's cash free, yet we were also not told. The staff members are rude and its to much for them to smile and be friendly. They building the lodge so it does not look pretty at all.

Short and sweet.

Nice lodge, a few issues regarding no manuals for kitchen appliances. Did not like the arrangement of sharing a lodge with other people. All lodges have 4 bedrooms, if you don't take all then the others get booked with strangers. We had one noisy couple next to us, be careful what you book. All staff friendly and helpful, though information regarding splash pool and services not forthcoming. A few maintenance problems, all problems solved with the hour, great service. Nice weekend away, pity it was winter so we couldn't use pools.

Parking problem for big cars.

When I arrived, I didn't get parking on the unit. There was unknown car next to our unit.

Great service and beautiful place.

The staff, food, service, room and all was great and organised.

Environment is lovely, relaxing, clean.

Everyone to their own but for me to re-visit a place is saying much as I don't normally go back a second time. Swimming pools in superb condition. Staff (cleaners and gardeners) very friendly. The spa is really enjoyable. Love the free roaming animals.

Please just check when you book on the website.

Make sure you don't mind sharing a lodge with a stranger. As we arrived someone had taken our room and we found out that we are sharing the lodge with another couple. I wasn't very happy with that. I complained to the manager and they accommodated us in a very helpful manner. Please make sure on the website that you tell people this.

Peaceful and serene.

Besides being chased by the monkeys upon arrival. Absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay. The place is so beautiful and they have the friendliest staff. Oh and the spa out of this world. Loved it. Definitely going back again.

Ons het regtig onsself geniet by die oord. Dit is regtig 'n baie netjiese plek van die verblyf tot en met die swemarea.

Aangename ervaring in 'n pragtige omgewing.

Die wooneenhede is baie goed toegerus met alles wat nodig is. Die oord bied baie doendinge en die restaurant se etes is heeltemal op standaard. Die spa-fasiliteite is baie goed maar dit is ongelukkig soms baie raserig in die baddens. Ons sal beslis weer die plek besoek.

Nie wat ons verwag het nie.

Foto’s en realiteit kom nie ooreen, valse verwagting geskep. Restaurant kos werklik goed maar diens is hopeloos. Wag letterlik 'n uur vir bestelling/bediening. Bekomming van verdere inligting oor oord/hoe dinge werk/waar wat is ens. onmoontlik om te bekom. Sou nie “hotel” aanbeveel nie, maar selfsorg behoort pret te wees vir 'n familie/gesin. Oulike waterpark/swembaddens.

Inligting word nie reg deurgegee nie.

Nêrens het daar opsie gegee om die kombuisarea saam te bespreek nie. Toe ons daar kom met al ons kombuis goedjies en vleisie en klein kind, is dit net ons kamer, geen selfsorg-eenheid. Toe moes ons probeer plan maak, gelukkig kon hulle ons skuif na een wat se kombuisarea oop is, maar ons deel saam ander 3 paartjies. Ons moet heeltyd ons goed sluit en kombuis sluit.

Fantastiese wegbreek in 'n pragtige omgewing!

Ons was tuis in the Premium Villa vir 3 nagte tydens 'n rugbytoer wat in Brits aangebied is. Dit was 'n wonderlike wegbreek van die stad en die eenheid was absoluut fantasies - skoon, netjies en goed ingerig. Die oord self het genoeg aktiwiteite om die kinders voldoende besig te hou en die restaurant se kos kan beslis ook aanbeveel word. Weereens 'n fantastiese wegbreek saam met LekkeSlaap!

Baie mooi omgewing en rustigheid, spa was lekker. Net jammer daar was nie parkering vir ons motor nie, daar's 2 parkerings vir 4 eenhede.

Netjiese omgewing, net jammer vir die ander gaste wat lawaaierig was. Jammerte!

Bespreking by LekkeSlaap was maklik en sal dit aanbeveel. Kinders het die omgewing baie geniet. Ten spyte van die beleid by Seasons oor harde musiek en geraas was die ander gaste hopeloos te lawaaierig, dit het ook 'n hele ruk geneem om hulle te kry om rustig te raak.
