Was heerlik. Chandelier in slaapkamer wat te laag is en die hout was nat, maar vir die res was die verblyf perfek, met aandag gegee aan klein detail.

Voel soos huis. Hoogs aanbeveel. Heerlik. Oorweeg vir familie naweek omdat daar genoeg gerieflike spasie is.

Ek en my sussie het besluit om op 'n sloertoer te gaan om bietjie uit die stad te kom en het besluit om in Riebeek-Kasteel te vertoef. Shades of Provence se foto's was pragtig, maar dis nog mooier as jy daar aankom. Ons het heerlik geslaap en het alles gehad wat aan ons belowe is. Ons sal graag weer wil gaan kuier! Ons het reelings getref met die eienaar. Sy was baie gaaf en het gesorg dat alles keurig en gerieflik is. Baie dankie vir die stukkie Frankryk. Shades of Provence was lieflik en beslis waarde vir geld.

What a gem! Shades of Provence is a beautiful French-inspired guesthouse nestled in the heart of the charming Riebeek Kasteel. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a relaxed, warm, and homely atmosphere. Our host, Nikula, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The guesthouse itself is impeccably decorated with a consistent French countryside theme that extends to every corner of the property. The attention to detail is evident, creating a cohesive and charming ambiance. Our rooms were tastefully adorned and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The smart TVs with streaming services, coffee stations, and luxurious bathrooms added an extra touch of convenience and indulgence. One of the highlights of our experience was the presence of burning wood fireplaces in the living areas. These fireplaces not only provide a cozy and comforting warmth but also complete the relaxed atmosphere that was so mindfully created. It was evident that the fireplaces were well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully stocked, ensuring a delightful experience. Nikula's hospitality was exceptional. Prior to our arrival, she provided clear directions, and upon our arrival, she warmly greeted us and gave us a thorough tour of the rooms and the entire house. Her attention to detail and eagerness to ensure our comfort added a personal touch to our stay. The bathrooms, particularly the baths, were a true indulgence. Luxurious and well-appointed, they offered a tranquil escape for relaxation. Additionally, the guesthouse's new inverter system protected us from any potential disruptions due to load shedding, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted stay. We would like to express our gratitude to the Shades of Provence team for providing us with an awesome stay. The guesthouse's attention to detail, warm hospitality, and luxurious amenities truly made our experience memorable.
