Description
Shamwari Riverdene is a family-friendly resort that offers all-inclusive accommodation, and is located in Shamwari Private Game Reserve. The reserve is home to Africa’s Big 5 and is malaria free, and is situated in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
Accommodation at Shamwari Riverdene comprises 9 individually decorated, interleading suites. Each spacious suite is furnished with a king-size bed and a sleeper couch, and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and bath. Each suite also contains air-conditioning, a TV with selected satellite channels, an electronic safe, a Nespresso coffee machine, a mini-bar fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and other luxuries.
Breakfast and other delectable gourmet meals are included and are served in the main dining area, which also has a well-stocked bar. The main area of the lodge also features Wi-Fi Internet access, a wellness centre that offers beauty and massage treatments, a boutique gift shop, a social lounge, kiddies and adults swimming pool, and a boma with a firepit that overlooks the water hole, where various animals frequently roam.
There is also a supervised kids club with an adventure park. 2 Game drives are also included in the rates, which an experienced game ranger who will provide insightful and valuable information about the fauna and flora between game drives and walks.
