At Silver Mist, we take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. We can assure you that all linen is thoroughly cleaned and replaced between each booking. The claim that linen was reused or dirty is entirely unfounded. We encourage future guests to refer to other reviews that reflect our commitment to cleanliness.
Regarding the broken glasses, these were unfortunately disposed of in the outside bin without being reported to us. We followed up with the guests, as this was the first instance of a guest breaking both a wine glass and a champagne glass. We promptly replaced the broken items by purchasing new sets, as individual crystal glasses are not sold separately. We regret that the guests did not acknowledge responsibility for the breakages.
Additionally, we were happy to accommodate the guests' request for 12 red roses, which we provided at our own expense. However, we did face some challenges during their stay, including a late check-out (1 hour and 45 minutes past the agreed time) and the condition in which the unit was left, with windows open, doors unlocked, and oil on the gas hob and floor.
While we strive to make every guest experience a positive one, this particular experience was challenging for us as hosts. Nonetheless, we remain committed to providing exceptional service to all our guests.
