The house is spacious and the open-plan setup is great for a large group. Our dogs were well accommodated and there is plenty of space for them to play. The host was very responsive and accommodating before and during our stay. There is enough seating space, braai areas, and everything else you may need in the house including a full DSTV package. It is within a short walking distance to the beach and the great coffee shop and bakery across the street are a bonus. The house could do with a bit of TLC but we had no real complaints. We had a lekker 3 day stay!

The house is dilapidated and the beds are uncomfortable. The house could be cleaned a lot better. The alarm was beeping due to loadshedding that had corrupted the backup battery, when we told the agent who booked us in that we could not sleep like this she was very abrupt and told us that we would have to stay as there were no other places to stay in this price range and if we decided to leave we would lose all the money we had paid. She made it very evident that since we were not paying a lot of money we should expect the accommodation to be as is. However, this is quite a lot of money for us, unless we are expected to pay R8000 plus per night just to stay 8 streets from the beach. The electrician that came round to the house was helpful and he did some sort of override to make the alarm stop beeping. The security gate on the back door is very difficult to lock and unlock as it is rusted and just from age I guess. The windows open and close with difficulty. The furniture is very run down and the cupboards are old and musty smelling. The kitchen taps made a loud thudding sound when you opened them to use them. We rewashed the cutlery and crockery and pots as there were many things in the cupboards that were put back dirty. The beds were old and the matrasses thin and uncomfortable. The bedding was cheap and I lived in the hope that it was clean enough to sleep on. Bedside lights could not be plugged it as we moved the beds away and could not find electrical sockets to plug them into. And when we did move things around to plug lights in, the bulbs were broken anyway.

Very comfortable, everything you need. Very homely, we felt very comfortable and at ease there. Loads of space and various areas to hang out.

Was goeie wegbreek. Maar met ontvangs misverstand weens miskommunikasie tussen eienaar en opsigter. Was ingelig by aankoms dat ons die plek self moet skoonmaak as vertrek, terwyl 'n bedrag van R350 betaal moes word vir skoonmaak.

Akkommodasie en ligging is aanvaarbaar, maar dit is nie kindervriendelik nie, te veel "kuns werke" wat maklik bereikbaar is vir kleuters. Een van die yskaste in die kombuis buite werking. Ander yskas was nie skoongemaak nie. Skottelgoedwasser buitewerking. Aparte toilet het 'n onaangename reuk en kon nie gebruik word nie.

Dit is 'n lieflike huis met 'n heerlike atmosfeer vir heerlik kuier. Ons verblyf was heerlik. Die huis is lieflik en ruim met heerlike kuierareas en 'n lieflike uitsig op die balkon. Die ligte in die braai-area en na die balkon het nie gewerk nie, maar dit het nie ons heerlike kuier beïnvloed nie.

Nice, spacious house. Kid friendly with a nice yard to play in. Conveniently located opposite a coffee shop and a general store as well as a liquor store. House is spacious, great for kids. Beds a bit uncomfortable, but all in all a very nice as a mini breakaway.
